They are too busy being worried about re-election.

The big question to me is “What will the American people do, not just the Republican Party.” We have heard Brietbart and we know where he was coming from, but now it’s up to us. Do we sit back and expect one party or the other to do our bidding or do we grab our own boot straps and pull this country of ours back to what it once was?

Republican leaders are of the same cloth as the democrats. They are soft liberals these days. There is no other explanation that could leave us with the likes of Romney, Lindsay Graham, Olympia Snow and Susan Collins.

I like Breitbart’s way. Confront them and put them on defense. Make them the targets of scorn.

Because they are pussies who are afraid of the left throwing a temper tantrum when you say what they don’t want said. Screw the left!

And screw all these spineless leaders the republicans have. The more I see of Rick the more I am taking a dislike to him. He just doesn’t seem to be half as effective as Newt in summing things up and tossing things back in the face of all those obscene “journalists.” I believe that Rick/Newt have a good chance of getting more delegates than Romney and they will work out a deal to deny Mittens the nomination. I just hope if its Rick he all these months under the spotlight will help him be more effective than he is today. Newt on the other hand can deal with the left quite effectively. So I’d rather have him as the nominee despite his “bagage.” Its not the the Marxist in Chief doesn’t have his own bagage!

Because they do not believe in the truth. They do not have a true commitment to doing what is right. McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, and on down the line. Time to remove them.

"He wasn’t afraid of fight, didn’t care if he was liked, he wanted to be right. We have far too many on our side who are interested in being liked, being invited back on various TV “news” networks and to cocktail parties. Not Andrew. The stakes are too high to make nice with someone who lies while compromising our nation’s future. This country is too great a force for good, our Constitution too important a guardian of our liberty, to stand by while it’s trampled under the guise of a perverted vision of “progress.”

Who will replace Andrew Breitbart? No one, and everyone.

How many people have started blogs because of him? Started attending townhall meetings with Members of Congress because of him? Started filming their professors because of him? Started questioning the corrupt media because of him? Started speaking out against attacks on our way of life because of him? To go silent now is unthinkable.

Andrew won many battles, but the war rages on. No one man was going to win it, the loss of no one man will lose it.

Mourn the loss of our friend, but honor his memory by picking up a piece of the fight. He wasn’t going to be able to win it alone, now, as always, it’s up to us to win it together. Derek Hunter, TownHall.com

Why don’t Republican leaders do the same????

Not just leaders, but conservatives in general. So many average, everyday conservatives accept the premise of leftists' accusations and questions. They don't know how to go on offense, and they need to learn--fast.

Why don’t Republican leaders do the same?????

Simple. Because we the people have not forced them to.

Republican leaders are afraid - they live in Washington and want so badly to be part of the cool 'in' crowd... they accept the trade-off to 'wuss out' when faced with rejection by a liberal.

As the article states - they need to stand up and say the following - to their mirror in the morning - and later to liberal bullies they meet - every day - until they grow courage - conservative mantras. On the issue of radical Islam they must say:

"You are fronting for the most oppressive ideology on the face of the earth. You are fronting for evil. You are carrying water and running interference for the denial of free speech, the denial of the freedom of conscience, the institutionalized oppression of women, the subjugation of non-Muslims, and worse. You're fronting for stonings, amputations, the murder of apostates, the treatment of women as possessions of men, the madness and senseless violence that we see in this furor over the Quran-burnings, and more. You shout us down on campuses and do everything you can to make sure we are not heard in the public square. And you call us fascists? You are the quintessence of fascism.
