I originally tried to post the article from the huff post, but found out that FR does not allow huff articles here. So I posted the link to the AOL facebook page instead.

Frankly, I’ve never heard AOL advertise on Rush’s show either.

AOL definitely has been advertising on EIB for a long time.
For this service:

AOL is dead or dying. Anyway, it’s for people who want thwarting internet served up to the based on AOL’s subjective perspective

Maybe it’s local or regional but I hear them all the time, and Rush does the voicing.

I thought AOL and Huffington Post supported the First Amendment, but only for the Liberals.

When Newt becomes president in 2013 I hope he investigates to connections between AOL the Huffington Post and Obama and puts them out of business and staff in prison.

Is there any way you can edit the sentence,”Facebook is pulling advertising from Rush”, to “AOL is pulling advertising from Rush”? My bad. Sorry. And thanks.

AOL is 8th advertiser to pull Limbaugh ads

If searching on a title:

Limitations: Only article titles can be searched and words with three or fewer letters are not searched at all.

Was this planned in advance for the election year? Just waited for something controversial to occur.

Got it.

Now, I even recall it.

YOU are spot on. For once. :)

My hat is off to you.

They need some new taglines, volunteering:

AOL: Leading edge technology for those considering upgrading to Windows ME.

AOL: Because when you’re not technically savy, don’t worry, neither are we.

AOL: That icon you immediately delete when that new computer arrives.

You know....

This has the makings of a good business opportunity...

I wonder what it would take to start a new version of some of these companies to take their place

Get "Mr. K's back up service- better than Carbonite and we don't cave in to political pressure. So when the government comes next to see what you've been storing...your records are SAFE"

I rarely post, but a trick that I learned from another FReeper is to type the article name, and FreeRepublic.com into your fav search site. It will show if it has been posted. It works for me, where FR search seems to be inconsistant for me too.

"Do you know how to post videos on Facebook?"

That's easily the most annoying commercial of the past five years in my opinion. I don't even know what entity is sponsoring the message since I turn it off the nanosecond it begins. It features a collection of self-absorbed individuals staring into their portable devices while real life unfolds all around them.

the fix is in

now, who will buy all their “stuff” when those clowns emailing these companies from the WH and their parents basements succeed in their advert boycott?

Customers come from... audience share and ratings!
So where they gonna go to find listeners? Ed Schulz? David Letterman? Oh wait, these guys all called women “sluts”

I will make it a point to listen to Rush and buy something from one of his sponsors and will NEVER EVER AGAIN patronize these chickenshits like ProFlowers who are dropping him based on faux outrage
Now let's see HANNITY and LEVIN dump these creeps from sponsoring THEIR shows

Never understood why Rush took them as a client to begin with.

Seems like most of the ads I heard today were Newt’s Super-PAC
