My Carbonite subscription is up in a couple of months. I am waiting to see which of Carbonite's competitors is smart enough to grab Carbonite's advertising slot on Rush Limbaugh's show.

Yes, I would much prefer to sign up with a company that supports Rush by advertising with him.
I posted several snippets from financial analysts on CARB yesterday. They are not profitable and have told investors they plan to be by 2014, assuming their growth and customer retention go according to plan.
A plan that their CEO Mr. Friend may have put at risk by his actions. Who “made” Carbonite? the 40% who identify as conservatives and listen to Rush or the 17% who are liberals? Cutting your potential market in half may well prove to be a career-ender, if not a company-ender, with Drop Box, Google, and others not aggressively targeting the cloud storage market.
You won't hear about it in the State-Run-Media; they're too busy covering the Carpet-Muncher Fluke's "plight".

I would too, but I am also motivated purely by self interest.
I don't want to sign up with an online backup company only to have it go out of business. If a Carbonite competitor quickly starts advertising on Rush, there is no doubt that it's business will surge.
