Derrick Bell, the radical left-wing professor with whom Barack Obama developed a long association, once admitted during a television interview that he, “lives to harass white folks”.
Video emerged the other day of Obama as a law school student embracing Bell’s teachings on Critical Race Theory, the idea that the American political and justice systems are inherently racist.
Obama says in the video, “Open your hearts and open your minds to the words of Prof. Derrick Bell,” before physically embracing Bell. White House records show Bell repeatedly visited Obama in 2010.
Anyone get Soledad O’Brian’s comment on this? I’m sure she’ll dismiss this too.

“Black people will never gain full equality in this country,” Harvard Law School Professor DerrickBell said last night at Clark University.
“Even those herculean efforts we hail as successful will produce no more than temporary “peaks of progress,’ short-lived victories that slide into irrelevance as racial patterns adapt in ways that maintain white dominance,” he continued.
“This is a hard-to-accept fact that all history verifies. We must acknowledge it, not as a sign of submission, but as an act of ultimate defiance.”

“This “racial bonding’ by whites means that black rights and interests are always vulnerable to diminishment if not to outright destruction,” said Bell , who was invited to campus by the student group Speaker’s Forum as part of Black History Month.
“For white people who both deny racism and see a heavy dose of the Horatio Alger myth as the answer to blacks’ problems, how sweet it must be when a black person like Clarence Thomas stands in a public place and condemns as slothful and unambitious those blacks who are not making it,” he said.
Bell said racial bias is no longer starkly visible as in the days of Jim Crow, but there is a pattern. “When whites perceive that it will be profitable or at least cost-free to serve, hire, admit or otherwise deal with blacks on a non-discriminatory basis, they do so. When they fear - accurately or not - that there may be a loss, inconvenience or upset to themselves or other whites , discriminatory conduct usually follows.”
Racial oppression is likely permanent in the United States, Bell said. “My challenge here is to tell what I view as the truth about racism without causing disabling despair.”
Bell recalled the summer of 1964 when he was a civil rights worker in Mississippi. In the small, black town of Harmony, he asked local organizer Biona MacDonald where she and the other black families found the courage to continue the struggle for school desegregation in the face of intimidation from whites .
“Mrs. MacDonald looked at me and said slowly, seriously, “I can’t speak for everyone, but as for me, I am an old woman. I lives to harasswhitefolks .’ “
The woman recognized that powerless as she was, she could still use courage and determination as a weapon, Bell said. “She did not even hint that her harassment would topple whites ‘ well-entrenched power. Rather, her goal was defiance ... Mrs. MacDonald avoided discouragement and defeat because at the point that she determined to resist her oppression, she was triumphant.”

...As articles editor for the Harvard Law Review in 1985 Kagan helped shepherd into print a racially noxious story by a radical law professor and architect of Critical Race Studies, which is essentially "blame whitey" in legal vernacular.
This was no literary fiction. It was the kind of story that would never get past Tina Brown at the New Yorker. What Derrick Bell, the author, was doing, observes legal scholar Arthur Austin, was "making broadside comments on the tyranny of white people." Austin, in an article, ranked Bell's fable one of the top 10 politically correct law review articles of all time.
Bell's fiction was a way to circumvent law review standards.
Yes, Bell said he adopted the motto, "I live to harass white folks," from an elderly black lady in rural Mississippi in the 1960s. The "white folks" referred to by that lady were apparently limited to those who had personally treated her in a very vile manner. So the mantra of "I live to harass white folks," if taken in this context and limited to it, is not anywhere like the caption of the video makes it out to be.
There are surely more pernicious quotes from the late Obama idol, Prof. Bell, which better illustrate Bell's radicalism and extremism. Bell's published works should offer a rich source for such material.

Bell’s race and political doctrines are the basis of diversity or multiculturalism. Socialists do this to anchor minority groups into a fight against all that is white in this country as described by Mr. Bell, et.al. One thing that is evil racist white is the constitution’s individual rights/the bill of rights and property ownership or free markets. The superior races perfer socialism so they can rob, control and take revenge on racist whitey.
They beleive in a two tier system of justice where only minorities have “civil rights” and protection from discrimination and hate crimes. Whites have no such protections nor rights. So it is alright to violate whitey’s voting rights, commit hate crimes against him (he is born an evil racist and deserves to be killed), and discriminate against him in jobs and opportunities. Government services are for minorities only to make up for what whitey did; whites are not qualified by vurtue of his dirty race. He must pay for those services. All disparities in outcomes where whitey outperforms any minority is because of his dirty racism. And on and on... They subject white children to these doctrines and it’s race hate and violent results in schools.
The Nation of Islam is woven into Bell’s racial theories as well. The hatred and scapegoating of Jews is peppered in. Doctrines about Jews and Israel are as racist as the anti-white doctrines. Jewish liberals are said to be the whites who have snuck into the civil rights movement to wreck it’s progress (in hate and racial revenge which Bell, et.al. calls racial justice or social justice). If white liberals had not been involved in the civil rights movement, Blacks would have defeated whitey and his racist constitutional republic by now. There is no innocent whitey or Jew. They are all born racist and the only way to end racism is to end the white race.
