I see your point...and it is a worry. For me, watching his show, it's obvious he is a very insecure and fearful guy who isn't afraid to show that side of himself. He has two daughters and I think it was his attempt to deal with his own fears about his daughters. It was very awkward and not funny, admittedly. By I think that's where he is coming from and I give a mild pass for it. Wow, your conflation of the struggle of a psychologically wounded person finding the courage to confront their fears, with a professional comedian struggling to find a way to outrage the very fabric of civilization while still getting paid for it, was smoooooth as silk.
Whoever pays you to post doesn't pay you enough.
