Ordinary people are not putting enough pressure on governments to deliver a legally binding deal on cutting greenhouse gas emissions, the U.N.'s climate chief said.

"There is not enough well up from the bottom up. I don't see millions of citizens demanding climate action," Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, said at a lecture on Friday.

"The reality we have to deal with is the process is very slow and the urgency is every day growing. The only way out is to continue to push on the government side but we can't depend 100 percent on governments because they can't deliver the 100 percent."

This hoax is a justification for new programs, greater budgets and an expansion in scope of power. Do you think they really even believe in this BS themselves?

Obama will beat Romney badly. Then watch Obama utterly bypass the constitution, sign the UN wealth scam, African bailouts, etc.

Then he will appoint other radical Marxists to the Supreme Court.

This is the Bolshevik revolution. And the same result will happen.

The UN and their supporters in governments around the world are trying to bring about a simpler way of life and equality around the world.

Simpler by there being only 2 classes, the ruling class and the serfs.

The ruling class will live equally like those UN diplomats currently live in New York.

The serfs will live equally like they currently live in Somalia.

...we can’t depend on governments 100% because they can’t deliver 100% sounds like the perfect definition of a dictatorship

Millions of earthlings AREN’T calling for higher taxes, scarce and high-priced fuels, a life of ease for the apparatchiks, and the ceding of their God-given freedoms to tyrannical governments? Just maybe there’s hope yet for mankind.

Can we all agree that the UN would be much more relevant if only they were headquartered in a much larger, and much older nation, such as India or China?

It's such an obvious struggle for that particular agency to base their operation in the most western of western nations, when the vast majority of members are accustomed to different styles of diplomacy.

India is more central to the vast majority of members, but China appears more ready to handle the title of host nation to the UN.

I’d rather experience global war to “reset the clock” than become a slave to the U.N. Molon Labe. Hopefully this piece of crap will be one of the first casualties.
