Good for both of them. Love and compassion reaps love and respect.
Maybe, one day, we can fill FR with nothing but these great positive posts. I may be dreaming, but I hope one day Jim Robinson can be proud of turning this “one Nation, under God”
from networks of hate and anger into one of joyous reports of dreams come true.
Keep the Faith.
Nice story.
Great post. Made my day.
BTTT
That would be great
“”Keep the Faith.””
Amen.
Thank you Lord, for so many blessings, just two of which are Tebow and FreeRepublic.

I’m not religious or into football at all, but Tebow is such a great man. I hope Denver keeps him, but Elway seems to not like him for some reason. Manning seems like a good guy too. I wish we could get him, but keep Tebow.
Great story!
I hope Peyton goes elsewhere.
He doesn’t look like an athlete.
He doesn’t have a personality
He just stands in the pocket and throws the ball.
No excitement.
I don’t care for football at all, but that’s a good man right there.
Elway doesn’t dislike Tebow, it’s just that Elway has to be all about the game, and while Tim has massively wonderful work ethic and dedication, he has yet to prove he has the athletic skills.
Tim will be given more time, maybe dedication and hard work and inspiration is all it takes, but in the long run, Elway thinks there needs to be more. And maybe there will be...As Elway said, because of last year’s strike and lockout, they could not work with Tim in the off season and camp was very much shortened, so it isn’t like it was a true sophomore season....time will tell.
Tebow and Elway are both top-drawer guys.
I have no interest whatsoever in football - even though I lived in Gainesville for several years - but Tebow is a good and decent person.
It infuriates me when they (the media) ridicule him and make it sound like it’s worse to be a Christian than to be a multiple-offender felon who then goes to jail for beating up his girlfriend, stealing from the lockers or is discovered to have a history of dealing drugs and shooting at the cops...things done by some of Florida’s other players not that long ago.
Of course, the Romans also felt that being a Christian was one of the worst of crimes. I’m not an Evangelical but a Catholic, and his style might not be mine, but the core of the faith is the same and that’s what the media really hates.
I’ve turned into a real Tebow fan.
So if Denver gets Peyton does the Dolphins get Tebow???
I am a Florida State Seminole, and I am also a very big Tim Tebow fan!!! He is pure class, a hard worker and a true Christian in a world that seems to be “on a fast freight to Hell.” I saw a Peyton Manning special this week. It was interesting to see that he also struggled for a few years before the Colts managed to build a team around him. Peyton was very good, and did well after the Colts built a team around him. It could be interesting to see how well an injured and older Peyton would do on a team like Denver that leaves its QB to fend for himself. Tebow did very well considering his youth, Denver’s line and Elway’s inability to comprehend the different game that Tebow brings to the NFL.

Meanwhile, he’s allowed a lot of us to get together to do what we need to do.
It’s Tebow Time. What a relief.
