BERKELEY (CBS SF) — University of California President Mark Yudof decried Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan as “provocative” and “divisive” Saturday following a speech at UC Berkeley.
Farrakhan spoke Saturday during an Afrikan Black Coalition Conference organized by the Black Student Union. The appearance drew protests from those opposed to Farrakhan’s views, but Yudof still defended his right to speak.

Obama’s “church” for 20 years was the Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) in Chicago.
Jeremiah Wright’s daughter edited the TUCC magazine, the Trumpet.
For 2008 their Person of the Year honor went to none other than the racist agent provocateur “Calypso Louie” Farrakhan. He was on the cover, and there was a flattering in-depth interview.
I managed to download the PDF of their magazine before Obama got the nomination and the TUCC web site was sanitized to remove references to their Trumpet magazine and other questionable writings.
When Nation of Islam held an MMMklan rally in Washington DC, the media cheered this hate group even though it was filled with the same antisemitic rhetoric from Louise Farrakhan.
They're obviously learning more Critical Theory than Critical Thinking in college these days.

Oh my, I’m here right by campus. Calypso’s entourage had presence this morning. Lurking in BMWs with the starch white shirts and bowties. It’s obvious they have some serious financial backing. Your Black Muslim Bakery is not too far away either. First time to this town, everything they say is TRUE.....Lord help us.
I am just joking and mocking Calypso Louie. He is into numerological nonsense and in the course of this has spoken of the significance of the number 19. My belief is that it is all crap and evil and I don't recall (or care to recall) the details.
If someone else was talking about 19 or any other number, I don't know why.
If the junk mail rate was twice that of first-class mail, people like Dees might have to work for a living. Quite a racket he's got going--but of course there are many other examples.
Makes sense - but here’s my problem: the MSM picks up Southern Poverty lies and spread them without doing any investigative work of their own. If in fact there are ‘thousands’ of active hate groups - let the press walk out and find 40 or 50 to do stories on... The SPLC lies remind me of hate stuff put out by Germans against Jews leading up to World War II... lots of ‘stories’ very few ‘facts’.
Our press is throwing away credibility - lacking the wit to understand credibility is tied to their bottom line.
