MTP Round Table

Peggy Noonan thinks Romney has ablitly to grind away, not worried about the up and down....(what a visual.....thanks, Peggy)

Marsha Blackburn - people in TN are conversatives, they wanted a candidate that will focus on jobs/eonomy and listen to them

The REV Al - people are more concerned about jobs/economy vs the social issues.

EJ Dionne - Romney is the favorite, but has proplems with strong conservatives/evangelical Christians....but his bigger problem is the “class” problem. Romney wins the vote of the wealthier voters.

Face The Nation: B.S. tells Newt that McCain is worried that it will hurt Romney to continue as we are with neither Newt nor Santorum dropping out and Newt reminded McCain he has a bad memory. He got the nomination early and lost to Obama!!!!! LOL!!!

Fox National News said there was “an incident” prior to the U.S. soldier shooting those Afghans. No more details than that right now. The networks are saying they don’t know what caused it and they did not mention an incident.

MTP talking abouit inflammatory rhetoric out there. Peggy Noonan says there is horrible, mysoginistic (I am SOOOOOOO sick of this “trending” word, that I refuse to learn how to spell it) war on women problem in our conversation.

obama should have been more of a leader and told “the guys” to wait a minute, slow down, ask what are we saying?

oh-la-la Peggy is so pleased with the “nothing” that just came out of her mouth.....let’s see if everyone else will pile on.

EJ Dionne disagrees - we should be able to disagree and do it passionately.

Blackburn says we should celebrate the freedom to have that debate, even if it’s passionate.

Rev. Al even if we disagree doesn’t mean we’re race-baiters, etc.

Okay, everyone made more sense than Peggy. Soooooo, Peggy tries to come to her own defense and chime in with, well, yes, but we shouldn’t be using words like slut, whore, etc.

There is no doubt that the recent shooting of civilians in Afghanistan is tragic and that the perpetrator should be prosecuted fully, but it is instructive to see how the US officials reacted versus the way the Afghan government and populace reacted to the situation of the accidental Koran burning and the killing of 6 American military personnel by Afghans who were serving in their military.

We almost prostrate ourselves in apology, but the Afghans make no such apology for the actions of their people and incredibly demand that the personnel involved in the Koran burning should be prosecuted. In other words, the Afghans try to justify the actions of their people based on some sort of contrived provocation.

Just food for thought. I have been a listener of Rush Limbaugh for over twenty years. I have also come to the opinion & belief that Mr. Limbaugh usually parses his words very carefully and never utters a word that he has not previously thought out. I am not a conspiracy dude, but......is it possible that the Limbaugh rant last week was planned and....without going through all the details, the Obamabots and the media gulped down the bait.... and then preceded to plunge into their own fashioned destruction when both the “Fluke” incident failed and The Obama contraception mandate flushed down the toilet!!!

It appears to me that the Rush Limbaugh move was an opening salvo, now accompanied by many others including Hannity, O’Reilly, Levin Ingraham, the Breitbart team, etc., to once and for all, really and truly expose the fraud and farce that Barack Hussein Obama really is!!! Political death by a thousand cuts, works, and....so does the Chinese drip by drip torture work effectively.

To me, the attack on Obama has begun in earnest, and....will be followed by the whoever the Republican nominee for POTUS may be. I have noticed, that every single day, another drip, another drop falls on the head and shoulders of failed POTUS Obama!!! If this true, folks keep it up!!!

Thanks for the chart, kabar. Regarding the “jobs” situation....anyone with half a brain and paying attention knows it’s not getting better. There are few career jobs available. If you want to work in a wharehouse, at a restaurant, maybe, but private sector jobs that will support a typical family are few are far between.

I just watched the panel on ABC with stuffy stephy and our side was so stupid they didn't know to equate the down turn or the economy and everything else in BUsh's second term with losing the House and Senate to the commie left!!

Our guys don't have a clue!! It will be a miracle if we overcome their incompetence.

And, if we do, the New Media will have to do it.Our leadership is struggling at best.

I doubt it.

When you have 15 hours a week to come up with stuff on your own, sooner or sooner you will screw up.

Rush proved once again he is human,he did screw up.

But,what happened after he screwed up reminds me of the dingy harry letter he auctioned off.

He handled things brilliantly once more. The end analysis of his comments are that he will have more listeners than before, better sponsors, and at least two sponsors that tried to come back.

Who has the last word?

Rush Limbaugh and few are surprised.

I don’t disagree with you but I would like to wait for whatever the investigation shows before jumping to the seemingly obvious conclusion.

I don’t trust the media to give us real facts.

We need to remember, there are standard talking points responses..... er, excuses.

Everybody does it.
It’s Bush’s fault.
Everyone knows capitalism doesn’t work.
It’s just about sex.
There’s only so much a president can do.
We didn’t know how bad it was.

True, these guys are so slick I heard Chuck U claim that "we" were ducking the true issues of energy, employment, the budget, etc.in favor of talking about "contraception." These Marxists are as slick as they come.

What’s even funnier is the conspiracy aspect of the Fluke BS turned out to be true. It wasn’t a committee hearing it was a Democrat sponsored event made to look like a hearing. She isn’t just a law student, she’s an activist.

Rush was also right in asking what you should call a woman who spends $3000 over three years on birth control? Using condoms alone, that turns into something like having sex over three times each and every day. Since Walmart and other places charges under $10 per month for birth control pills, what was the rest of the expense for?

If a woman has sex over three times a day, what would we call her if not a slut? If a woman is being paid to have sex, and that’s what buying her birth control products amounts to, what should we call her other than a prostitute?

Frankly, Fluke looks and acts like a number of lesbians I’ve seen over the years so I even question her need for birth control products. I certainly would not classify her as cute or sexy.

Great points, as always, bray. Unless we understand and accept the underlying spiritual basis for this conflict we will always be at a severe disadvantage.

I do think we need to remember, however, that Sandra Fluke was not simply a mis-guided, brainwashed “young person” - she’s 30 year old long-time activist who by her own admission chose Georgetown so she could mount an assault on its traditions, institutions and policies. Further, I have no doubt she was in on the White House plan which George Stephanopoulis publicly launched weeks before in the debates. She is not a concerned student - she’s an enemy operative. She may have begun as an ignorant puppet, but she’s now willingly graduated to one of the low-level puppeteers.

I agree that a thorough investigation is needed. I am not jumping to any obvious conclusions, but there should be no doubt that the shootings took place and that there are significant civilian casualties. What prompted the shooting needs to be investigated and explained.

If Rush so chose, he could “Be Breitbart” so to speak.

He has known so much success now for so long that he is at a crossroads for decisions.

Rush can either be content to continue on the present track and retire wealthy, or, he can go for it and TRY the Breitbart track, where he baits the press, causes their predictable response and reaction, LEADS them into that reaction, and then turns it against them, exposes them and blows their corruption up and out into the open, for all the world to see.

This would include Peggy Noonan (whom I ONCE use to respect and admire).

I mean, when PRAVDA and British papers cover the MSM corruption in the US before we do, we’re in some real trouble here.

Yes, I pulled it because the headline does not reflect what is in the linked Fox News video. The Fox News video is Judge N. discussing whether or not a crime might have been committed, it says nothing about Geithner being arrested. If you follow the story further, you end up with a speculative Youtube video.

It's not a matter if Turbo-Tax Timmy SHOULD be arrested, but whether or not he was. No proof was provided for that claim.

What prompted the shooting needs to be investigated and explained.

Likewise with the Koran burnings. I have seen referenced elsewhere that the personnel who burned them did consult about the proper procedure and were informed, correctly, that burning was the prescribed solution, yet none of "our" spokesmen seem willing to make that case.

My personal opinion is that the Obama administration sanctioned the original leak of the story as part of a plan to stoke and inflame violence against our troops as justification for a planned, humiliating, Vietnam-style withdrawal of our forces before the end of the year.
