The White HouseSo much for his inevitable re-election. Obama's poll ratings are falling, and he's looking weak against his Republican opponents.
That's the gist of a new WaPo/ABC poll.
In the new poll, 46 percent approve of the way Obama is handling his job; 50 percent disapprove. That’s a mirror image of his 50 to 46 positive split in early February. The downshift is particularly notable among independents — 57 percent of whom now disapprove — and among white people without college degrees, with disapproval among this group now topping approval by a ratio of more than 2 to 1, at 66 versus 28 percent.
These groups are also the ones whose shifting support has re-shuffled prospective general-election matchups. Among registered voters, Obama is now on par with Romney (47 percent for the president, 49 percent for Romney) and Santorum (49 to 46 percent). Previously, Obama held significant advantages over both.

Note that toal "approval" is only at 38% vs. 59% disapproving. Previously he had been at 44% approval and 53% disapproval.

Now here's the weird part. Obama's disapproval on the economy is up, but when you disassociate the economy from Obama, things look better.

The numbers are probably worse than reported for Obama. WaPo and ABC are hard left Dem propaganda tools. The BLS probably advised them on how to “seasonaly adjust” the numbers.

I think the enemedia drives that train. As the sing the happy tune about how the good times are back, the sheeple believe it.
A kid at my local Walgreen’s was chatting with an old duffer in front of me. They were talking politics, the kid said: Obama will let the price of gas go to $5/gallon, and then right before the election, he’ll manage to get it down to $3.50/gallon and people will be thrilled.
Smart kid.
I think gas prices are directly affecting Obama’s numbers, and the danger is, Americans are just dumb enough to respond as the kid said.

I have been thinking that all along. If the price drops at the end of October and it just might then ZERO will claim credit and say he has been working on it. However I still don't think he will win.

The intensity numbers are very nice. Among those who approve of the communist, roughly 55% strongly approve. Among patriots who disapprove, roughly 81% strongly disapprove.

This is why Obama wants taxpayer-funded college for all. To err is human. But deep stupidity requires college.
Hopefully people are starting to see obama for the B.S. artist that he is.
Most voters may not understand the ramifications of Saul Alinsky, critical race theory, Israeli-Palestinian issues, how evil Obamacare really is, Solyndra, Fast & Furious, non-recess recess appointments, etc., but the one issue they DO get .... right where it hurts .... is when they have to pay $75-100 bucks for a tank of gas (depending on tank size & local gas prices, of course). The high (& getting higher) gas price issue is about the only thing I can see sinking Obummer’s boat come November.

Obama failed to realize that all the MSM excuse making and ass kissing over the last 3 years won't do him a bit of good when a citizen is filling up their gas tank.
Which means the numbers are far worse for Obama.
