A part-time teacher's gay porn past isn't reason enough to keep him out of the classroom, according to Florida education officials.
Shawn Loftis, who was booted from the Miami-Dade public school system last year, can go back to teaching, the Florida Education Practices Commission in Orlando ruled Friday.
He could even turn it into a full-time job, the commission decided.
Loftis — who starred in gay porn films under the name Collin O'Neil — was teaching at Nautilus Middle School when the principal learned of his past, according to WPLG 10 News.
The district suspended the substitute in January 2011, then his teacher’s certification was revoked in April, despite the fact that he’d left his porn career behind.

Apparently the guy aged out of his “porn career.” From the sound of it, he has no other regrets. Since his future students are virtually 100% certain to find out all the details, he can probably share with them some tips about getting into the industry, which might be their only hope after they finish public education.

That's where the principal made his mistake. Never ever fire an employee for the obvious reasons. This was a substitute which means his work days depended upon the secretary to call him to offer him the day of work. Easy enough to just not call him and he'd have eventually found other more reliable employment. Now, the school has paid tax dollars to the legal problems and are now stuck with him.
So, who was watching the gay porn when they discovered his previous acting venture?
I guess being paid to wear a bikini and help men land their fish is more of a stain on a woman's reputation than being in gay porn is a stain on a man's reputation.

Maybe some parents ought to stand outside that school and demand he be fired. Handing out information to the people who wait in cars to get their kids might have an effect.
Of course, our society is so degenerate now, I bet a lot of parents would say, “He was in gay porn? So what?”
...after all, his ideal job is one where he an recruit and convince young men they were “born” gay.
