Thanks for the information. I was aware of communist influences, hence the McCarthy hearings etc. My comment referred to the Comm Party’s endorsement of Obama for the presidency in 2008.
I was not questioning whether I thought Obama was a commie, I was struck by the fact that the big C party endorsed him.
From personal experience, I know that as recent as the early 1990s, the American Communist Party, the Workers Socialist party, the Democrat Socialists etc never endorsed a Democrat for president. They had their own candidate(s) as part of the revolution.

Davis will probably “win” a couple Oscars and Grammys next. He might even win the Nobel “Peace” Prize if they don’t give it to DADT poster boy, Bradley Manning.
