This one should be a bit more effective because it cannot be cast off as “youthful indiscretion” as the tie with Derrick Bell could be characterized. This video depicts more recent events.

That said, I worry that the word “communist” isn’t the kiss of death it should be, given the 2012 ideological landscape. Let’s face it, the Democratic Party, while calling itself “liberal”, and “progressive”, has in recent times been in word and in deed all that we used to describe as “socialist” or “communist”.

The fact that Barack Obama will be exposed as having had communist ties may not mean much to recent college grads whose only knowledge of communism may be what they’ve experienced in the last three years of the American economy.

I fear that in the end we may expose Obama as a communist, say to them “we told you so” and our reply will be “so what?”

I agree and it is far worse in my opinion, than the one about Professor Bell but the coverage of this one is less. I think the reason is the MSM doesn’t want it mentioned in any way, shape or form. They had fun spinning and contradicting the Bell video, this one they can’t do that so they ignore and hope it dies a fast death. Even Drudge is avoiding it.

Quentin Young and Milton Cohen, mentioned in several Posts/articles, were identified members of the Communist Party USA for years, if not decades, before they left for the emerging Democratic Socialists of America, the biggest marxist organization in the U.S.

Both were in Bill Ayers’ house at the meeting that promoted Obama for the Illinois State Senate seat given up by Soviet-sympathizer Alice Palmer.

Find out who else was at that meeting and you will have found the heart of Communism in Chicago. The others, identified by Loudon, Kincaid, kclv, etc were all known communists/marxists, and I believe Rabbi Arnold Jacob might have been there, another Obama neighbor and veteran CPUSA front supporter.

When people in Chicago say “they’re having a party, it really is the Party”. Spit on any of Obama’s neighbors in his “hood” and you’ll hit a red or a black extremist. It didn’t happen by accident (and if you investigate, you’ll find that Obama’s house’s mortgage is in the name of one of Tony Rezko’s partners).

You might want to read what Trevor Loudon has written about David Axelrod’s mentors David Rose and the late Davis S. Canter, a CPUSA member and Soviet propaganda distributor (and probable Soviet agent of influence). Rose is an old communist sympathizer by his own coded admission, starting since the American Labor Party/Progressive Party elections in 1948. He and Canter were Hyde-Park friends, neighbors, newspaper owners, advisors to leftist Mayor Harold Washington, and admitted mentors of Axelrod.

Chicago is Communism Central for the midwest US and Obama and his family, friends and political buddies are at the heart of it.

Breitbart is the latest in a line of unsung investigative journalists/researchers who have been slowly exposing Obama’s lifelong and extensive ties to the communist and marxist movements in the U.S.

I love this film clip. Danny Davis is an old red and the fact that Batchell is with him means that the CPUSA has significant influence on him.

In the old days, this would be an act of treason. Today, it is just another day in the Democratic Party’s hood.

A poster gave a link to the Democratic Socialists of America, DSA, where the web site, obomareleaseourrecords.blogspot.com ran a list of elected officials in Congress and in the Judiciary Committee who were members of the Democratic Socialists of America. This was for the year of 2008 or 2009.

I tried the link, but it was not found on the page. I found the link on google, but I couldn't pull it up, and I want to pass it on to everyone I can...we need to see who the commies are in our government. Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.

In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.

We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.

Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.

Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?

Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?

And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?

All these things are within reach now!

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA (CPUSA), wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. In Hawaii, he became a mentor to Barack Obama, the man who seeks the Presidency of the United States.

Kathryn Waddell Takara, Ph.D., a Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Hawaii, has written at least two lengthy analysis of Frank M. Davis’s political activities both in Hawaii and while he was living in Chicago. Takara created the first Black Studies department at the U of H in 1971 and is an associate of such notable leftists as Angela Davis and Stokely Carmichael.

Takara’s paper, 'Frank Marshall Davis: Black Labor Activist and Outsider Journalist: Social Movements In Hawaii,' describes Davis’ radical activities in Hawaii as both a writer and labor organizer.

How this committed Communist became a mentor to Barack Obama remains a mystery, but it is likely that his mother was somehow involved in far left activities in Hawaii and met Davis through her left-wing network on the University of Hawaii campus. Perhaps an enterprising reporter could ask Senator Obama how he met Davis and what sort of influence he may have had on him. Likewise, one can only speculate on the influence his rebellious, left-wing mother had on his political beliefs and aspirations.
