I am always amazed at people I meet here's faith in the federal government to solve an impossible problem. Both Republicans and Democrats here told me at different times depending on the POTUS : "You don't know that the government cant do it" involving promises on non-existing energy solutions.

Sure, if you CANT prove that they wont find something that no one yet knows exists then it must exist but we just don't know it yet, right? There is a MAJOR flaw in this logic.
