How convenient! Someone has finally invented a weapon that combines the killing power of a double-barreled shotgun with the portability of a handgun.

It isn't the efficacy, safety or logical reason for it. It only suffice to be the catalyst to piss off a liberal - mightily. It is the same reason why I have a KaBar mini-bayonet for my Glock 21!...it doesn't have to make sense - big boy (and girl) toys that piss of liberals. That's the operative here.

I have double barrel hand gun, 40 caliber I believe

It fits in a jacket pocket easily. Apparently there were lots of them in days gone by. No ammo is available now for it

Thank you. A the same time, I admit I should have been a more specific.

If you want to have a weapon that can be used in close quarters, such as the interior of your home, you don’t want to use the long shotgun. You want a shorter assault version more conducive to mobility.

That’s more what I’m looking for.

Not really. The LeMat had 9 shots with a backup of a 20 guage barrel. It couldn’t fire more than one shot at a time. It was a black powder precussion pistol that had to be loaded slowly. To fire the shotgun barrel under the main barrel you had to switch the firing pin device on the hammer to hit the nipple for the shotgun barrel.

And with the value of a real LeMat you could put your kids through college and still have plenty left over.

This 1911 double barrel is a novelty but I don’t see it as a good gun for self protection. I’ll keep my single barrel 1911s over this oddity.

I wonder if it's the same folks that did the double Glock?

The kick on that thing must be massive. Even in the video under controlled circumstances, this guy was dancing a bit.

I am fascinated by the gun in it’s workmanship, but I’m by no means convinced of it’s practical worth.

put rails on it and finish it in black so it can be an assault weapon whose only useful purpose is killing people. Also, I think the music on the video is too scary /LOL

Thanks. Went to a gun show last weekend, and in the ensuing days I began to envision a twenty gage semi-auto assault style weapon. Heh, heh, heh, can’t get it out of my mind.

Anything worth shooting once is probably worth shooting twice...

I think it's ugly and a gimmick... But I bet it sells a few. Especially if the idiots on the Left keep hyperventilating about it.

I wonder what the ATF thinks this is?

Don't they consider anything that fires more than one round with a single pull of a trigger to be a Class III firearm, and subject to NFA '34?

It looks like it has two triggers ?

In the event of a jam on one side, no problem just keep shooting.

I use Corbon 165gr HPs in my Kimbers, and the Condo’s walls will easily stop them. A cheap apt’s walls might not, though. A S&B 230gr FMJ is a whole ‘nother story: it’ll blow thru 2 walls and a perp’s chest. Those are best-suited for outdoor use, not home defense. I use both in different Wilson Combat 8-rnd mags.

Beyond silly. If you want a handgun that will send multiple bits of lead downrange with each trigger pull, get a Taurus Judge. The thing is too thick to conceal or for average hands to handle.
