Don’t be silly.
Obama would love for everyone to see this.
He wants to up the Government subsidy for the Government Motors car the Volt by another $3,000, he wants to FORCE Americans to buy that piece of crap. He wants excuses to throw away more tax dollars to supporters that build wind farms and other failed energy systems..
No raising gas prices do not scare Obama, they just give him more reasons for more Government takeovers............

Do you know how much their property taxes are?

“...intentionally manipulated by ‘whoever’ ...”

I agree and I think intentional manipulation is occurring. My fear is that the intentional manipulators are also (among others) Obama’s middle eastern Muslim brethren and the prices may suddenly come down right around election day.

I’m not a paranoid conspiracy tin foil type, but I do think there could be a loose coalition of international powerful elites who have an ability to influence these matters.

ctually, they do not care if you[and me] see it or not. They through their allies, the media, have been able to convince a large segment or the population that this is all Bush’s fault. Not theirs. And none of the other mess we are in is obama’s fault either. I have been asked numerous times by these people,”What has obama done that is so bad?” And the phrase, “If the Republicans would stop hindering him, he would straighten out the Country’s problems quickly.” And the Democrats I know of cannot wait to vote for him again.

DID NOT KNOW YOU KNEW MY MOTHER!!!!!
I HAVE BOUGHT STOCK IN DUCT TAPE!!!

All true. But in terms of connecting with voters, gas stations and grocery stores are where people really notice price increases. I have some great conversations about the coming election while waiting in checkout lines.

Wow. I paid $3.73 this morning because I had to get gas at the highest priced place on my commute (halfway point of 50 mile drive). I thought I got screwed...

I know their property taxes are not significantly different from the gasoline stations all around this one station. Those other station are about $1 to $1.5 cheaper.

This may be a real price, but it is not an indicative price for gasoline in the area.

Post-It Notes On Pumps Fueled By Obama’s High Gas Price Policies, Online Prompting

By Bill Hobbs
February 29, 2012

Could a combination of social media and Post-It notes help defeat President Barack Obama in the fall?

As gasoline prices continue to rise, setting new records for this early in the calendar year every day, the cost of filling up the tank is becoming a more common theme on social networks, with people increasingly tweeting photos of the high prices on gas pumps.

Maybe, it’s just in my little corner of the Twitter universe - but, I doubt it, since I’m seeing an increasing number of such tweets from people I don’t follow on Twitter, through the miracle of the “re-tweet.”

From coast to coast, people are no longer absent-mindedly staring into space as the gas pumps into their tank, or wandering into the convenience store for a bag of chips or a candy bar. They’re taking pictures of the price of gas, and tweeting about it. Their message: we are upset, and we blame Obama.

People like Chuck Biller, who works in IT security in California, and just paid $4.33 a gallon. He tweeted, “Obamanomics at work. *sigh*”.

It’s inflation and it’s Obama’s fault. it’s inflation that drives the price of everything higher be it butter, beer, gold, or gasoline. It is not supply and demand driving prices up and it is not a group of rich republicans trying to torpedo Obama. Obama did this to us and to himself. this is the consequence of inflation. period.

That’s the station outside the Watergate - famously expensive. Only Potomac (village,) Great Falls, and possibly “Montgomery Mall” have higher gas prices in the DC area.

That station is at the corner of Virginia and Rock Creek Parkway, right at the edge of the Watergate. It has always been comically overpriced, even 50 cents more than the station right across the street. If you’re headed out of the city that way, it’s the last station there to use.

I’ve never done anything more than drive by, but I’ve heard that the mechanics are absolute thieves as well.

Of course there’s always the possibility that the owner of the gas station is putting the price at whatever price he thinks he can get. .....

It’s a set up.

The prices will be below $3.00 by November.

Count on it.

Barry will be given the credit by all the mainstream News Media.

The “independents” and mushy middle will believe every word.

And Barry will be re-elected.

Unless the shadow government has already anointed Mitt, the outcome of which won’t be a lot different than if Barry gets re-elected.

Another poster on this thread said he drives in the area and the station is always about a buck high.

Location, Location, Location...

And if they purchasers of gasoline get to expense it to tax payers, they probably don’t care what it costs.

we’re sitting at nearly $2 per gallon less expensive.

It's $3.999 here in my part of central Illinois. That's real, real close to four bucks, with any kind of luck it will hit $5 by election time.

However, if the republican nominee is Romney, I don't care, I won't vote for either of the evils.

My only concern is that they are doing this now, with the plans to lower it to $2.00 in Sept & Oct and say “wow Obama is great!”
