Do you really think avid supporters of Rush care about Sleep Train? Or so many of the other products? Really?
The advertisement, nationally - voice endorsed products are a matter of listener loyally, pure and simple.
Whether the voice-endorsed products are Sleep Train, Chocolate Strawberries, or Carbonite, the listeners don’t care, really. They care about what Rush thinks about the products. And, therein my friend, is the crux of Sleep Train’s problem.

They stopped buying Shnapple when they pulled their advertising, and Shnapple lost $millions and their stock price plummetted
How much Snapple have you seen in the stores since they were bought out years ago, as I recall it was Pepsico, and they quit advertising with Rush. I quit buying and as I recall the amount of shelf space diminished until it was gone, I don’t recall seeing any for years.
