Vermont Secretary of State James Condos is threatening videographer James O'Keefe with criminal investigation for his Project Veritas exposé of voter fraud in the state. Ironically, Condos would have made it far easier to commit the very fraud that O'Keefe's investigation has suggested may be possible at the polls.
As a state senator, Condos pushed for same-day registration voting. "We are all concerned about maximizing the number of voters with an election that has integrity," Condos told The Burlington Free Press on February 14, 2005. "There is a lot of trust in our system," Condos told The Free Press on April 7, 2005, when a bill for same-day registration cleared the Senate Government Operations Committee. Condos has also long downplayed the threats to the integrity of the voting system. "We don't have people dip their fingers in an ink bottle [to make sure they don't vote in multiple places]," he has said.

I was at the public library today to get a library card so I could download electronic books.
Guess what? I had to show photo ID. I remarked to the very nice ladies, in a very polite manner, that it seemed very strange to have to show ID for a library that I am taxed for, which is not even in my town, yet I am not required to show an ID to vote.
I guess we need an ID to read but not vote. Hmmmm. Are we at a place YET where we need the 2nd amendment to get our government back under control?
Here in Idaho one must show photo ID at the polling place before one gets a ballot.

How can I be a poll watcher to stamp out fraudulent illegal voting in a state that already has that covered?

A one hour drive south of Vermont is Connecticut.
Connecticut has had voter ID ever since I’ve lived here (at least the past 25 years).
No one complains about it. It just seems like a reasonable thing to have.
You should have seen the explosive influx in the late 80s-early 90s. I used to live in upstate NY and often traveled to Burlington for medical reasons. The northern route via rouses Point and the Southern through Port Henry used to be a drive filled with Rockwell style countryside. In just a few years the development of what was once farmland was mindblowing and that Rockwell started to resemble Escher.
Wasn’t hardcore righties moving in either....And UVM is pretty much East Ithica campus.
However, IMNSVHO, the real blame lies with the RNC and his opponent, the feckless RINO SOB, Norm Coleman. They just plain threw in the towel. FYI, Franken turns out to have lost by over 2,000 votes.
That's pretty much sketched out in the link I posted.
The vein I have been mining is exactly the AsG of the States. Target: getting at least one of the SOBs to use his power to remove the Soetoro boy from the ballot while we figure out exactly who, or what the hell he actually is.
