Say what you want about Bill Maher; he is not a stupid man. But in an interview today with ABC's Jake Tapper, he sure sounds like one: Bill Maher: The bit I did about Palin using the word c—, one of the biggest laughs in my act, I did it all over the country, not one person ever registered disapproval, and believe me, audiences are not afraid to let you know. Actually, political speech like Limbaugh's is the real final frontier of free speech. Stand up comedy has a long history of being censored, ask Lenny Bruce.

And “Animal” in Bill’s case, is most descriptive. It’s actually quite unfair to animals everywhere to classify him as such, but there you are.
How can anyone say Maher is not stupid. He is obviously and self evidently stupid. You might argue that he is talented, though I would take issue with that, but he is most certainly stupid.
If his father had not been a CBS network news editor, we would have never heard of this simpleton. Does the author of this piece not understand that guys like Maher have writers. They don’t think of what they say by themselves. And Maher is apparently to stupid to know that he makes himself look stupid by repeating the idiotic lines written for him.

I agree, how can anybody be called smart if they have to resort to crude and offensive speech like bill maher have to to get a laugh, but then you might have to consider his audience. enough said
