Just ask yourself this......if all of these Republicans
who have top notch degrees, and many from top notch law
schools, and “street brains” from having run, and WON
elections, can’t see how easy it would be to topple Obama,
then who WOULD? I think
1) Some have “sold out” to get big jobs when they leave office
2) The rest only care about themselves, and getting elected again.
These people aren’t stupid, they are EVIL!!

And yet, they don't see themselves that way. They consider themselves to be pragmatic realists, ascending to and riding the chaotic waves of politics and power as little better than flotsam, but with just enough influence on events that no matter the size of the storms that come up, they can ensure that they're able to stash away a substantial amount of jetsam for their personal gain, even as the ship of state founders and begins to disintegrate.
It isn't that intelligence is missing, but rather that honor and integrity have taken a back seat to cold calculation.

But by doing this, they ARE the proximate cause of the downfall of this country, because Obama’s evil runs so deep that an orchistrated effort by the Republicans would be enough to cause Obama the election. This makes them every bit as evil as the Dims, because they KNOW the truth, and refuse to help us destroy the dictatorship we are now under.Obama does whatever evil deed he wants, and nobody stops him. That to me, is a dictatorship.....de facto, or otherwise!!

The similarities are numerous, and profound, but too many Americans(especially the younger ones) never were allowed to study real history in schools. Others are worried about who will win “American Idol”.IMHO, 2012 is our last chance. If Obama wins, NOTHING will stop him. HELL, nothing and nobody is stopping him now!

I couldn't agree more. I didn't say that they aren't evil; I just said that they don't see themselves that way. Many villains throughout history have seen themselves as simple pragmatists. I'm nearly certain of it.

Napunchbowl is indeed made up. I confess. However in my defense the AP story did indicate that many Indonesians just go by one name. So it is possible his/her last name may have been anything.
