Obama is hero of own movie (Epic Fail .. Flirting on The Edge of Inanity)

Barack Obama turned up the intensity of his reelection bid, debuting a movie glorifying himself as a president who made "tough" decisions that dragged a traumatized nation out of crisis.

The 17-minute film, soberly narrated by Tom Hanks, is packed with pensive still photos of Obama, and testimony to his toughness from backers like former president Bill Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden and top political aides.

It opens with footage of Obama's euphoric victory rally in Chicago in 2008, recreating the hope and expectation of that campaign, but perhaps inadvertently pointing to the difficultly of recreating that heady moment in time.

"Time and again, we would see rewards from tough decisions he had made, not for quick political gain, but for long-term and enduring change," Hanks said.

"So when we remember this moment and consider this president, then and now, let's remember how far we have come and look forward to the work still to be done."

The film, called "The Road We've Traveled" and directed by Oscar winning director Davis Guggenheim, comes across as an effort to convince Obama supporters, perhaps disappointed by his presidency so far, that they should sign up to fight for him again in November's election.

The film is essentially a greatest hits of the Obama presidency, putting the most positive spin possible on his domestic, economic and national security policy, and skipping over bitter feuds that have raged since he was elected.

Republicans are sure to mock the movie as a grandiose attempt to disguise an administration they consider a miserable failure, with unemployment still above 8.3 percent and many Americans yet to feel the benefits of a recovery.

George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Harvey Weinstein, etc. ain’t gonna cut the mustard. These characters have not a real screen hit in years. Why, “The Iron Lady” is a financial flop in the USA. Ms. Streep got her “Oscar”, but the investors in the Iron Lady took a hit in the shorts. They are all has beens!!!

As such, the great “Obama” directed by Tom Hanks is going nowhere, other then to have a few nutcase, Obamabots watch it and drool!!! Obama is going down big time, come November, 2012. And.....let me be so kind and give the Democrat ilk a bit of advice. beating on the Pubbie candidates buys you nothing. A crosseyed, court jester, with a lisp, could wipe out Obama with one hand tied behind his back!!!

You Dems have no idea how many millions of the American people of all stripes will come out and vote against Obama, but....they will also vote to politically destroy the Democrat Party that let Obama loose on this great nation!!!

Also, they love to ignore the fact that the US is not some tiny little European country where the most of the population is concentrated in a few urban areas. Neither do lots of us want it to be. The left would love for everyone to be forced to live in such areas, dependent on government services. It makes the people easier to control. The left is all about control where it really matters. That’s why they claim to want “government out of our bedrooms” even as they seek ever more ways to force everyone to pay up for deviant behavior.

Amen to that. We have, as the human race, discarded so much of the common sense we once had. Such as actors being low on the social scale. There’s something inherently wrong with a society which pays people millions to remain permanent children playing “let’s pretend”.
