FBI: Afghan civilian killings could spark attacks in U.S.
CNN ^ | March 15, 2012 | Carol Cratty

Washington (CNN) -- The alleged murder of 16 Afghan civilians by a U.S. soldier could spur retaliatory violence in the United States, a law enforcement advisory by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security warned.

The intelligence bulletin, which was issued Wednesday to state and local law enforcement partners, says "there is currently no specific, credible threat information" that extremists might strike targets in the United States.

However, the document, which was obtained by CNN, notes the March 11 killings of the Afghans is the latest in a series of events in Afghanistan that could cause anger and possibly lead to violent action.

"The FBI and DHS are concerned that this event could contribute to the radicalization or mobilization of homegrown violent extremists in the Homeland, particularly against U.S.-based military targets," the bulletin said.

I guess they’ll be keeping an eye on TEA partiers and Christian pro-lifers then.

You could pick your nose and incite some islamic savage into an American-killing spree.

They are taught by their religion to kill infidels. Any other "trigger" is incidental and irrelevant.

BOLO! Alarmist or not, I’m growing eyes on all sides, instead of just front/back. I hope this isn’t true, but don’t put it past the muzzies.

There is a mosque located cattycorner across the street where I live. I have gotten hostile looks, like when I was in the reserves and returning from weekend drill in uniform.

Retired now. The muzzies know however that in South Carolina you don’t need CCW to pack heat in your glovebox. And I do.

Think about it, this was their next step. Get out of Muslim lands and they’re OK with us “infidels”!? No way Jose. They’ll follow us here or activate their sleepers already in place.

It’s war, folks. Fourteen centuries worth now delivered to your front door.

We've all seen where "a little bit of a woman's leg" is enough to kill her, so this doesn't surprise me. I'll be wearing 2 of these, from today on: Galco® Paddle Dual 8-Round Mag Carrier

We all knew this’d be coming here and that we couldn’t keep it over there, forever. Watch for “soft targets” to get hit, before TSHTF.

Recruiting station, Ft Hood etc etc etc... just a “testing of the waters”.

Hospitals, VAs, nursing homes, kindegartens, grade schools, colleges, offices...

Like they wouldn’t already be trying this if they could? Come on! This is a CNN story from a CNN ideologue for cripes sake. This is just more reason to instil more power with the TSA, the FBI, the DHS, the ATF et al.

Nearly every abridgement of constitutional rights begins with some ooga-booga horrific act (Reagan Assassination Attempt - that Democrat Representative’s Attempted killing- I refuse to say her name, etc....). Then comes absolutely stretched interpretations of news events, then comes DHS’s admonitions to LEOs everywhere about redneck conservative patriots being terrorists. I just wish there were a “white man’s equivalent” to “n-word, please!”

Gee, then maybe we should secure our borders and stop importing Muslims? No,this will just result in more surveillance and restrictions on the rest of us.

It won’t be the “homegrown Americans”, but more like the radicalized imports, sleepers who’ve snuck across (your links), left-wing wackos, America-hating muzzies... the list is unsettling, to think they’re already here and ready to go upon command.

I know, I know; that was my first thought. But it *could* happen, again. Remember the Little Rock recruiting station and Ft Hood murders?

Are we at war, or aren’t we at war? I just read about one of the recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Dr. Tom Little, who was savagely murdered along with 9 other aid workers in Afghanistan in 2010. These people worked in optometry, helping the Afghanistan public with free eye operations and medical aid. The reason for their deaths (at point blank) was that they were Christians.

So with our still being at war with these murderers, why not level the playing field and kill some of their civilians? I know...two wrongs doesn’t make a right. The Afghanistan government never prosecuted any of the Taliban responsible for Dr Little and his assistants’ deaths. Why should the US be in any war if we can’t kill people? The Taliban still use children as suicide bombers in the name of allah. That means children have to die. Kill them before they kill us.

I’m glad that the soldier who killed the Afghanistan civilians at least somewhat leveled the playing field. He’s a soldier in combat. He is at war. Bring them all home if you don’t want any of our enemies killed...otherwise kill them all.

You’re both probably/surely right, but it never hurts to be *situationally-aware*, though my guess is that everyone here already is just that. Not trying to yell, “wolf”... just worth reading after Little Rock and Ft Hood.
