Mandates to make insurance plans cover contraceptives and abortion are nothing but redistribution schemes, using insurance companies instead of the government to collect and redistribute the wealth.
Unfortunately, many of the “cadillac” insurance plans are no more than income redistributors as it is. Insurance was invented to spread risk; when every single doctor visit is covered, what, exactly, is the risk being spread?
