I read the Filipino weeklies and there are at least 2 US Spec Ops FOB’s in the Southern Philippines, which also includes housing Aussie Spec Ops as well.
This came from a “side story” from an article that reported the rise of the sword-making industry which ranged from medieval swords to samurai swords which accidentally started by American soldiers in the area buying them and sending them Stateside. Now that town exports the same swords to Hollywood and the UK, as a hobby.
