AP story.

Four years ago it was all Bush's fault.

Now? ABO - anybody but Obama.

Oh, we know who to blame — we know who IS to blame!, and for oh-so-many reasons.

He may make light of gas prices, but everything we buy is affected at every level (consider farm prices). DUH!!

Yeah, when a Republican was in office the MSM always mentioned ‘Bush’ when they talked about gas prices. Now, I don’t hear ‘the president’ or ‘Obama’ mentioned at all. Funny that!

Democrats Eager to Exploit Anger Over Gas Prices

By MICHAEL JANOFSKY

NY Times- one paragraph snip

Officials at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which advises House candidates, said they sent a memorandum to candidates on Thursday offering guidance on using the issue to their advantage. The memorandum includes a “sample statement” that recommends telling voters, “Americans are tired of giving billion-dollar tax subsidies to energy companies and foreign countries while paying record prices at the pump.”

To the extent the headline has any truth:

The reason is, because many are still unable to accept the possibility the media is simply lying to them. They still give any claim in the media - veto power over their own brains.

They cling bitterly to the idea of real journalism.

When they finally see the truth, there’ll be heck to pay.

For anyone who wants to BLAME someone and don’t know where to start, you could start with Barry and his EnviroRATS and you would be pretty much right on the money with your choice.

Domestic production for domestic use. Quit selling our crude on the world market at OPEC prices. We should only be selling finished fuel at OPEC prices if it is surplus production that is slated for export. Domestic demand trumps foreign demand. The US is currently a net exporter of finished gasoline, due to lack of demand, so why is the price so high for a product that isn’t in demand? World market pricing is the answer.

Well, it was common knowledge that when gasoline was hovering between 2-2.50 it was because Bush and Cheney were playing into the hands of BIG OIL and were personally putting the profits in their own pockets.

I believe this because Reid and Pelosi told me so and it was reported by the MSM every night along with the daily body count in Iraq.

That sounds familiar. Today I noticed a popular and pricey local cafe had closed. It was owned by a nationally known chef (not his main joint) and a destination for the snobby yuppies (single egg and toast $5, but it was all organic, farm fresh, and politically correct to the max.) Notices in the windows thanking the customers, the unemployed now employees and the suppliers. No mention of the reasons, but what could it be if not Obama economy? Well, the owner happens to be a rabid Obama-Clinton supporter and fundraiser.

It is the opposite. We hear the President is not to blame and he can not make the prices go up or down. I read an article from the AP yesterday and the last sentence had Bush with prices higher then now saying "When adjusted for inflation” which is a total joke. In the later part of 2008 prices were down to $1.76 and started going up in Jan. 2009 and have been going up ever since. The media spins lies and I am sick of it. I wish people would wake up or move out of US.
