SANFORD, Fla. — The Rev. Al Sharpton, an MSNBC host and liberal political figure, riled up a mostly-black Sanford, Fla., crowd on Thursday night in the wake of the killing of 17-year-old student Trayvon Martin.
“Some people said to me in the media — ‘Let me get this straight,’ they said. ‘Reverend, it seems like there’s a lot of people who are angry — are you afraid of violence?’” Sharpton preached to the central Floridian crowd. “I said, ‘No. I’m afraid of the violence you already had.’”
“Violence is killing Tray Martin,” Sharpton continued. “Don’t act like we are the ones [who are] violent. We didn’t shoot nobody.”
Despite his harsh rhetoric, Sharpton warned the thousands in attendance to avoid resorting to violence at all costs as the Martin case progresses. “I want our people to understand that how you behave is going to be a reflection on this case,” Sharpton instructed the crowd. “[No matter] how angry we get, don’t let them make you act in a way that they will say, ‘see, that’s what to think with Trayvon.’”
“We are going to act intelligent,” Sharpton said.

These people insist on bringing us back to the 60’s and 70’s. Nothing like the good ole Tawana days. This is going to be an awful summer. I’m so depressed. I just want to wake up from this obama nightmare.
If 25,000 white people showed up to seek justice for the elderly OK couple, or the child who was doused in gasoline and set afire, or any of a number of brutal black-on-white crimes, the media would describe them as a lynch mob.
This will be a long hot summer.
Once the information begins to trickle down to the race baiters that accused shooter George Zimmerman was of Latino descent and not a white demon as is the popular perception, I think the fomenters will begin to back off a certain amount and refrain from creating a racial long hot summer.
Probably not. It's been my observation in the past that Blacks and Hispanics do not particularly get along well together. Meanwhile, the frustration level in both groups is growing because of the bad economy.
I think we are setting on an ever more dangerous power keg that can be touched off at almost any minute by almost anything.
Just what we needed!! Al Sharpton,racist puke, liar, fraud and anti American, to call for justice in the florida teen case. Quite an example of honor that Sharpton, lest we forget his Tawanah Brawley involvement, his tax evasion, combined with his racist and anti gay rhetoric. This bum is on the path to run for President.
It is called black racism......period!
