U.S. picks public health expert for World Bank job

The United States has picked a public health expert of South Korean origin as its candidate for the World Bank presidency, a job emerging market economies are contesting for the first time.

President Barack Obama will nominate Jim Yong Kim, president of Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and former director of the Department of HIV/AIDS at the World Health Organization, a senior administration official said on Friday. The White House would make an announcement at 10:00 a.m. EDT (1400 GMT).

Angola, Nigeria and South Africa have endorsed the nomination of Nigerian Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a respected economist and diplomat, as a candidate to take over the bank when Robert Zoellick steps down in June.

"The endorsement is in line with the belief that the appointment of the leadership of the World Bank and its sister institution, the International Monetary Fund, should be merit-based, open and transparent," the three said in a statement.

It was a rare example of unity among countries often at loggerheads as they strive for dominance on the continent.

The United States has held the presidency since the bank's inception after World War Two, and a European has always headed the IMF.

No doubt a fellow traveler with Zero, and you can bet the World Bank will be used to funnel even more of our tax money to jihadi governments worldwide.

You've seen other Obozo appointments, why would this unqualitifed one be any different?

No way. LaGarde is the perfect WEF protege. I'm sure she frightens Obama. In fact, she's going to really go places in this crazy world. Unless, of course, she gets religion.

Pure political appointment.
Anybody actually qualified for the job is automatically disqualified, because if he knows his trade, he is not so easily controlled.
Reason #113 why communism always fails.

Indra Nooyi of Pepsico was also mentioned as a possible candidate. I guess she will just stick around and drive Pepsi down some more by wasting money on environmental projects and healthy food products.

Of course. New guy has never worked outside “education,” “community organizing,” and hugely profitable “international agencies” that steal American taxpayer money. Marx is smiling.

The World Bank is a messed up concept and participation by the United States government is unconstitutional.

It is also a huge drag on the American taxpayer as we fund it almost entirely.

The globalists are the masters at thieving from the US taxpayer.

The cancer of Obama”care” now extends to choosing a “Public health expert for the World Bank.”

_______

The major problem with THE NINE SUPREMES is that they are chosen for political reasons by the POTUS, and then they vote as an un-accountable democracy, for a Nation that is NOT a Democracy, but a REPUBLIC.

As a result, THE NINE SUPREMES commonly vote 5 to 4 on most issues. Constitutionality is seldom a consideration, and their up-coming ruling on Obama”care” will prove my point.

Now is the time to stand and deliver to address our grievances to the dictates of the Left.

Oppose the dictates of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack!

Our ONLY chance to ABOLISH Obama”care” rests with THE NINE SUPREMES, because Romney will be defeated by Obama.

IMHO, if Romney is anointed as the RNC Nominee, THE main issue in the National Election, Obama”care,” will be taken off the campaign table. Hence, Romney will not only lose, but suffer another crushing, and sadly typical, RINO defeat.

To those who want poster ideas, here are a few ideas for demonstration posters:

Obama”care” was robo-signed by Congress, and is therefore illegal.

Obama”care” was 2700 pages long, but is still being written, but not by Congress: witness the forced contraception coverage recently.

Obama”care” has caused “The Catholic Spring.”

Obama”care” reduces competition, and therefore is illegal by the 1890 Sherman Anti-Trust Law.

Obama”care” is designed to be a US Federal Government monopoly, with no competition.

Obama”care” also is illegal according to the US Constitution, because it violates our freedom of choice.

Will THE NINE SUPREMES notice any of these three violations? I seriously doubt it.

Impeached Bill Clinton proved that the US President is above US Federal Law, so anything that the President wants he gets, regardless of the Federal Laws that he has violated.
