In a new video from Rick Santorum, it is hardly morning in America. It is more like apocalypse in America.
From the opening sequence of a large raven to subsequent images of boarded-up buildings, a 1950s-style fallout shelter and alternating views of President Obama with the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, this is one bleak future.
The video is meant to show the consequences of re-electing Mr. Obama.

John Brabender, the Santorum strategist who made the video, said it was a trailer for an eight-part series that will start in two weeks. Each of those videos will show how various Obama policies, such as those regarding health care and energy, have affected everyday life.

No problems with that — none at all.
These are “polarizing” times. One MUST take a stand on one side, or the other.
I thought it was a terrific video, served up as a trailer for more to come.
By the way, if you liked it, and would like to -save- it as an mp4 video (as I did), here’s a nifty way to do it:
1. Go to this link:

2. You will need the URL of the YouTube video you want. Just copy it from the YouTube page if necessary.
3. Paste the URL into the space to the left of the “Grab It” button, then click “Grab it”
4. The video will load in the window.
5. You will note just beneath the video, several options to save it as, such as 720p, 480p, 360p, etc.
6. If you’re on a Mac, click the choice and it should get saved to wherever you have specified for downloads to be saved (default is “downloads” folder, but I like to save to the desktop)
If you’re using Windows, I -think- you have to right-click on the format you want to save and choose something to the effect, “save target as....” (I’m not a Windows user).

It just didn’t have the right feel at this point in the primary process. Some of the imagery was too stark and suggestive - like the lnoe tennis shoe left at the empty playground. What was the point of that image? The baby in the red pj’s (I think in a white basinet/bed).....I just didn’t like it. I didn’t think the horror movie quality will appeal to a lot of folks.
But that’s just me. It may work for others. We shall see.
Mother's deserting playgrounds so quickly they leave a child's shoe - speaks of fear of crime. The playground deserted speaks of fear that isn't fleeting, but permanent. It says we're going back to a time of broken windows - and endless chaotic excuses for criminals.
"Root causes" of crime - code for more money and incentives for criminals. Hey kid - you make good grade? You get nothing. You? Held up a store? Midnight basketball? Summer camps?
Liberal elites, MSM, union goons and the criminal class join hands to take on the middle class. Liberal lawyers push for laws that make it easier for criminals to get off - making their job easier... It's the darkness - drinkin' from a liberal's cup...
Mass killings - the FIRST thinks the press says is - 'it's probably a 'right winger'. What happens if some day the perp escapes before capture? The MSM wil pin the crime on us - forever. Homeland Security thinks of conservatives as terrorists - have you watched their videos? Not a radical Muslin on the screen - just white middle class men and women.
Liberal men can call conservative women any vile thing they can come up with - and there's never a peep from the MSM - reverse it and they scream and gnash their teeth, faint whatever. Liberals are TOO important and wonderful to be called names. But they dish it out ... People who have Larry Flynt as a hero look silly acting like 17 year old virgins - but the press buys their story. What a surprise. The longer dems are in power the worse it gets. Got the darkness... drinkin' from their little cups.

wow, you put some thought into that! I don’t disagree that the present and future with obam is a disaster. I’m just reffering to what I think the average viewer would think seeing this ad out of the blue.
Maybe it’s more appealing to men?
It made me think of the Clint Eastwood ad but without the “hope”....Funny, I hadn’t read the article, when I thought of that, but it made a similar point.
