The Keystone will probably be built at some time. Either in 2012, 2013, or 2017. There is a lot of oil in Alberta, the Mackenzie delta and Alaska that has to come to market. Eventually Keystone energy corridor will run south to the gulf and north, up the Mackenzie River and all the way to Alaska.
As to the intelligence of the voters in any early 21st century democracy, you tell me. The evidence has not been very positive so far.
