About 2,000 march in Seattle to protest Florida teen's killing
Seattle Times ^ | 3/25/12 | Steve Miletich

"I AM TRAYVON MARTIN," read one sign in the crowd, ~~~

Many wore hooded sweatshirts — commonly called hoodies — because that is what Martin was wearing when he died. And some held bags of Skittles candy and cans of iced tea because that was what the unarmed African-American youth was carrying when he was confronted by the watch leader, George Zimmerman, the 28-year-old son of a white father and Hispanic mother.

[ “In the meantime, the entire “Trayvon as victim” narrative is falling apart.”

That does not, and will not, matter. All the details of the Rodney King arrest were known and were available, but the Official Reality was about a hapless motorist brutalized by vicious racist cops, and they showed an endless loop of 12 seconds of King being hit.

Official Reality says that Treyvon is an innocent victim, backed up by a four year old picture of a cute little kid. The mob will run with Official Reality. ]

Sad to say, but once you get a Mob like this worked up by the hustlers the only thing that seems to placate them is blood of innocent bystanders who get in their way....

"...does anyone know where the original report was that said he had Skittles."

Yesterday someone reported that he may have shoplifted the candy and iced tea at a convenience store. I doubt Sharpton will be checking video tapes.

“In the first days of this controversy there were numerous FReepers spewing commie poison here on FR over poor little Trayvon.

They aren’t so self-righteous and indignant anymore for some reason.”

Yeah I know. I was often their target for not feeling sorry for poor little Tryvon. I was called everything but a white man. LOL

It sickened me to know that so many FReepers would swallow the MSM koolaid and spew it back to others as if it were the known facts. When I said we should wait to find out what the truth is I was treated like I was insane.

I guess I’m not looking so insane now.

Can “Saint Trayvon” save the Obama presidency?

Well, the media sure are doing their jobs. keeping this story on the front burner and asking why a child killer hasn’t been arrested. Jerry Rivers did his part with his “Hoodie” comment.

I sure hope they enjoy the riots.

"Jerry Rivers did his part with his “Hoodie” comment."

Can't stand that moron. He should have been sealed in Capone's empty vault. That said, his hoodie comment was a broken clock moment for him. He said Martin "looked the part", and we now know he liked to ACT the part too. Little wonder he caught Zimmerman's eye that night.

Seattle, mind your own business. Have you ever had a situation like this?

I’d be willing to bet that you have.

Why won’t people let the facts come out before yapping their yappers?!

I work in Stockton California. The murder rate (mostly gang related) seems astronomical. Just last Saturday an Ice Cream truck driver was shot and robbed and is in critical condition. Last night an 18 year old was shot in the head in an outlying town. There were 4 murders in 3 days a couple weeks ago. But everyone here is worried about a case in Florida. What am I missing?

It’s obvious this is being taken advantage of by a number of entities.

Better to hide what is really going on.

BACKFIRE!

Yeah, I think if Zimmerman is proven right they will all have to repeat the march walking backwards with a sign saying I was wrong to jump to conclusions. I apologize to Mr. Zimmerman. That is the only way to regain their honor in my eyes.

"Bullets! Buy bullets."

What are you going to do with "bullets" without accompanying shellcases, powder and primers?

Bullets are to cartridges as cement is to concrete, as flour is to bread, etcetera.

If you wish to write about the subject, please learn the language.

Can you imagine what will happen if the Republican wins the presidential election and it’s at all close, say like Florida 2000. Insurance companies are probably getting a little nervous about now.

“These gullible idiots are probably the same crowd that thought OJ was framed.”

####

Not gullible. Simply racist.

If the double murderer Simpson had been white, there would have been no “framed” mythology.

This has become a campaign organizing technique for the Obama campaign. They are now selling gray hoodies like the one that Trayvon was wearing, except this one says, “Obama 2012.”

Politically incorrect.

Those were murders perpetrated by those wearing hoodies-part of the uniform of young gangstas- as opposed to someone being killed wearing the uniform.
