The funeral director who prepared Trayvon Martin’s body for burial told HLN’s Nancy Grace Wednesday that he did not see any cuts or bruises on the teen’s hands that would have been indicative of a struggle with George Zimmerman.
Richard Kurtz of Roy Mizell and Kurtz Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale said there appeared to be a gunshot wound in Martin’s upper chest area, but he received the body after the autopsy was completed so it was difficult to tell whether he had other injuries. He also could not determine the bullet’s entry or exit point.
“As for his hands and knuckles, I didn’t see any evidence he had been fighting anybody,” Kurtz said.

Seems the media is working hard to refute the recent “other side” leaking out.
ABC had video last night “which showed” no bleeding to head (from 400 feet away after he was probably cleaned up). Now CNN interviews the funeral director.
I wish they wee this inquisitive with Obama.
Bet they have serviced a lot of young men over the years. Surprised they did not reference their expertise and experience of the cosmetic work done by their firm on shooting and knifing clientèle.

I started diregarding anything Nancy Grace had to say way back during the whole lacrosse fiasco. Week after week she was full speed ahead with the premise that they were all guilty as sin and ridiculed anyone who even suggested that the prosecution’s case just didn’t seem to add up. Dirty b*tch. I’m disgusted that she’s still on.
I can’t believe Nancy Disgrace is still on the air or ever was to begin with.

Hmm. Maybe that’s because an autopsy had already been performed by a doctor with expertise in the examination of body tissues and fluids. You know, a pathologist. Which he is not.
This bears repeating. Bruises form when blood is pumped out through broken capillaries. There was probably not enough time for bruises to form before Trayvon died.
So now a funeral director is a forensic expert. Give me a friggen break.

In my younger street-roaming days, I had some scuffles where I beat the guy to a pulp without getting a scratch on my hands.
Slamming someone into hard objects (like concrete) can do far more damage than your fists.

I would prefer to read the coroners report rather than hear from a funeral director (no doubt hired by the family of Martin) before I would think this is relevant.
I’m embarrassed I actually watched this tripe. The good funeral director not only gave his expert opinion on the state of the body but also described this as the worst case of police work he has ever seen.
Nancy Grace is a joke.

First time I seen a funeral ad with a printable coupon: “Print this page to receive a free limousine service. We would match and beat any funeral home prices” I didn’t know WalMart expanded into the funeral biz.
Dr. G. will find that he died of a gunshot wound brought about by smoking cigarettes.
