BB is a place that I don’t like going to, because the ambiance is annoying. Loud music (usually some post-modern garbage), flashing TVs, useless salespeople. It’s a complete package of customer repellent!

I used to avoid Home Depot for similar reasons. They used to have a PA system that always preceded an announcement with this obnoxiously loud alarm tone. It was very distracting, and they did away with it 10-15 years ago (probably due to customer complaints).

Yeah. Had one guy try to convince me that one 3D TV “popped out” more because it had more lines than another (720p vs. 1080p). Just smiled & nodded, refraining from speaking my mind.

Not as bad as the circuit city business model. Rap music blaring at you as you walk in the door. No thanks. How'd that work for ya?

EXACTLY! It’s horrible just BEING in one of their stores for 15 minutes because of the racket.

Anyone notice the "Reserved for Fuel Efficient Cars" parking spaces that are now found at Best Buy stores?

These are located closest to the store along with the handicap spaces. Counted more of the fuel efficient spaces than handicap...

Parked my SUV there anyhow. Asked the employee at the door what qualified as a fuel efficient car, he said anything that gets 35 MPG +. Pointed to my SUV (the only one in those spaces by the way) and said it gets 35+ going down hill with a tail wind....

The BLASTING rap music super over priced pieces parts for computers (and out of date to boot) it is a nightmare to have to go there.

I went there to LOOK at tv bracks and found them to be DOUBLE what other places were selling.

Not to mention the fact if you do buy anything they will try and sell you a warranty. “Would you like a warranty with that pack of tic tacs?”
