“This case is going to divide blacks and Whites/Hispanics. It’s going to cost Obama the election. “
Nope. The taco brigade has already come down on Treyvon’s side.
“The taco brigade has already come down on Treyvons side.”
A good many alleged “FReepers” have angrily and aggressively done the same.
:: The taco brigade has already come down ::
A good many conservative hispanic FReepers would resent the use of this term, including my wife and her WWII veteran father.
There are a lot of good, legal, conservative Hispanic contributors to both Free Republic, the Tea Party, and who are on the right side of the issues.
Labels like that alienate allies and give the left ammunition to accuse the right of being if not racist, at least out of step with minorities.
As with all ethnic "rights" groups and Women's" rights groups they are not concerned even a little with the rights of the people they claim to represent. They are socialists/communists and they have chosen particular themes for each group to base its activities and propaganda on. When the political goals do not quite mesh with the putative group goals then the rights and well being of the putative beneficiaries become irrelevant.
I think you’re wrong about Hispanics in Florida... give me a link.
I live in Florida - you're wrong. Send me the link... really.
I can assure you that Zimmerman’s ethnicity will be noted again and again if this case becomes yet another televised circus trial and it looks like it will.
That won’t help Democrats and the fact that this happened in Florida won’t help them either.
just sent an email to spike lee—want to see a true racist? look in the mirror. I would love to be the lawyer for the elderly couple that he tweeted their address to..spike, you would be $100 million poorer if they had good counsel. Do the right thing—pay them compense for you’re racism.
Let me preface this by saying that I am "hispanic", and I make George Zimmerman look like a white boy, thats how hispanic I am :)
With that said, let me also say that I took your comments of "Taco Brigade" as referring to racist hispanic groups like "La Raza", I don't take this is a slight at all.
ah, Petronius, you disparage Hispanics?
My son-in-law is from the Dominican Republic, and is the most wonderful husband to my daughter that I could have ever hoped for.
Let’s not generalize, ok?
