Exclusive - Palin to Couric: 'Game On'
Breitbart ^ | Saturday March 31, 2011 | Alexander Marlow

When news broke that Katie Couric will be filling in for Robin Roberts next week on ABC's "Good Morning America," the country yawned.  Or, at least we did, until we learned that NBC plans to pit "The Rogue Warrior" against "The Perky One": Sarah Palin will be guest-hosting "Today" this Tuesday.

[....]

"I see this as a good opportunity to bring an independent, common-sense conservative perspective to NBC. We’re 'going rogue' and infiltrating some turf for a day,” Palin told Breitbart News.

When Breitbart News asked for a comment about the fact that she will be competing with Couric, Gov. Palin responded simply: "Game on."

I may be cynical, but that’s my guess as to why Roger blessed this appearance: if NBC gives her a regular gig she’ll be sidelined from politics.

"What most people don't know is that NBC is still a network."

Imagine if Palin announces she’s running for President?

Anybody notice how Sarah says: “Game On” just like Santorum did when he did well in one of the races?

Anyway, ghis should be a really interesting interview. Palin won’t trust Couric as much as she did in the last interview. Palin was told (by a woman in the McCain camp) that Katie Couric admired Palin, yeah riiiiiiight.

She is not on with Katie, they are on competeing networks. It is a ratings war. Oh- and Palin said Game On way back in Wisconsin Tea Party Rally. Way before Santorum.

Actually, I noticed how everyone and their sister Sally, including Santorum, has been saying “Game On” SINCE Sarah Palin exclaimed it in the snow in Madison, Wisconsin during a speech in April 2011.

I believe the exact quote was:

“Mr. President, Game on!”

It was right after she asked if some GOP men should be taught how to “fight like a girl!”

Did you notice that?

I didn’t notice that, but it’s a good little phrase - “Game on!”

Game on may not mean much to Palin; she used the phrase about a year ago, and it turned out to mean she was stepping aside.

I believe this move by NBC is a win-win situation and very bad for the conservatives.

1- NBC is starving for audience and an image as “not 0b0z0’s network!”

2- IMO, this is the main benefit: neutralizing Sarah’s FB, Tweets attacking, and challenging 0b0z0! IOW, NBC wants to protect the non-NBC boy of theirs from Sarah’s disastrous challenges to him.

Being an employee of a “News Organization,” she’s not supposed “to take sides or be an advocate.”

You may ask, how about Al Sharpton? Simple answer, some employees are more equal than others.

Sad. I can’t help but believe that she missed her calling.
