I’ll go so far as to say, Hoekstra will beat Stabenow, by a whisker, and Romney will beat Zero.
Funny thing is that Hoekstra never did apologize for the “racist” ad and the last poll I saw showed him leading.
The most recent manufactured scandal the democrats have created is outrage over his comment that he’d like to see the 17th amendment overturned. (I tend to agree) Its better to lose the ability to vote for a senator and regain the state legislative voice in DC.
First order of business should be to crack heads on the Demagogic Party corruption by the likes of Obama, Feinstein, Reid, et al, and Pelosi et al in the House. Then get rid of the filibuster.
When Stab-me-now was in the state house, she proposed the idea — later passed into law by ballot initiative — to shift funding from property taxes to state sales tax (which rose from 4% to 6% — the lib idiots in my family claimed it was a “50% tax increase” which, of course, was the Demwit talking point back at the time.
Downer Debbie claimed that she’s proposed it as an absurdity, which shows just how [string of expletives] stupid, ignorant, and out of touch she actually is.
WOW, what a bunch of Debbie Downers.
This will be us in November....

I just got a call from the Hoekstra campaign, asking if I would come to the state convention and stand in the background as he gives his speech. I can’t, since I will be out of town. But it makes me wonder if there is an enthusiasm problem. I have never received such a call in past elections.
If you’re active in politics that may be why. I’ve worked on Walberg campaigns and have received similar invites.
I don’t think anyone is terribly enthusiastic these days.
