The head of the General Services Administration resigned Monday after a scathing report which called government spending on a training seminar in Las Vegas "excessive, wasteful, and in some cases impermissible." In some election-year damage control, the White House quickly put out a statement that President Obama was outraged when he found out about the spending.
GSA Administrator Martha Johnson admitted in a letter of resignation that her agency had made a "significant mis-step" and that "taxpayer dollars were squandered."

Good luck seeing the 75K clowns on the evening news.
I work for the DoD and we can’t even get office supplies any more and these asshats are party’n it up in Vegas?

"Martha Johnson came into her position amid controversy. Her appointment as head of the GSA was held up for 10 months through an arcane Senate procedure known as the hold where one senator can delay a nomination without reason. When Johnson was finally confirmed by the Senate in 2010 the White House touted it as an example of why Americans are so frustrated with Washington."
The other, is that her stated #1 priority when she came to run GSA, was that the agency should have a zero-enivironmental footprint. Not that is should be frugal with taxpayer dollars, or not pay for elephants in Las Vegas.
Or whatever he calls his damned islamist self.
"Obama Been Lyin'"
The white arab probably approved it.
LOL, that stinking POS Ubama should get an Oscar!
Do you really believe Obama is against spending, Lancey?
My bad. If Obama can pull off the “I’m against this spending” thing he’s a Svengali.
Oh wait. We already established that.
A mis-step, oh, so that’s the new word for stealing.
It doesn’t seem like all that much to me. Catering for $100 a head? Sure, if that’s a for a single meal it’s a bit much, but if that’s for a 3 day conference it doesn’t seem that bad. In any event; it’s all a drop in the bucket. As long as we refuse to deal with the real budgetary issues we’ll continue to be sidetracked by nonsense like conference expenses and earmarks.
Somebody call me when the President is “outraged” at the First Lady’s spending.
As an employee at GSA, we would hear this propaganda everyday.
