Where did Van Jones suddenly come from. Has anyone else noticed that Van Jones seems to have suddenly emerged in the media as an Obama campaign operative? He was relegated to relative obscurity when Glenn Beck outed him as an unrepentant Marxist agitator. He suddenly "resigned" his position as White House green energy czar and we didn't hear a whole lot from him. Yes, he was occasionally in the news. But in just the last week or so, he seems to be everywhere, all the time in the news media, commenting and being quoted on key presidential campaign issues. He was on the Stephanopolous show on Sunday, commenting on the SCOTUS Obamacare issues on equal footing with George Will.
If I am perceiving this correctly, I'd like to know, how did he suddenly re-gain legitimacy? Who is he working for? It interests me that he might be a choice for the Obama campaign as a key operative for media appearances and quotes. If this is true, I think that it has a lot to do with "racializing" the campaign. Conservatives and pubbies are supposed to be intimidated from criticizing Obama on the issue of race when they are pitted against a smooth talking black person like Jones. Perhaps they also hope that he can provoke some sort of comment out of Republicans that can be spun as evidence of racism. Either way, watching him on Sunday, he fit the bill just right: brazen lies and spin, spoken with a smile. He repeated the mantra over and over again that the Obamacare decision is about Republican's desire to take away health care and raise the body count.
He hasn’t been anywhere...he was the one who organized the Occupiers last fall.

Van Jones is a proud Marxist...he’s said so himself many times. He held a job in the Obama White House until he was outted by Glen Beck.
Clearly, he’s being remade by the msm. I was stunned to see him on the Sunday ABC panel show given to Clinton insider George Stepawhatshisface. But there he was...last Sunday. Ann Colter was on the same panel...which seems to show some balance...but only if one equates Colter’s conservativism (see has all but campaigned for Romney) with Jones’ communism.
Expect to see Colter disappear from future shows...my guess is they will continue to bring Jones back...now that he’s been cleaned up for msm viewing.
Van Jones was thrown under the bus because his involvement with the “Truther” movement was outed.

He lay low for a while and during that time was laying the groundwork for OWS.
I don’t know if he’s directly involved with Obama re-elect, but wouldn’t be surprised if he was as he has wide appeal to the union movement and Rev. Wright type adherents.
They’re counting on memories being very short and that no one will recall his conspiracy nut side regarding 9/11.
That he’s appearing as a “legitimate” commentator on current events despite his kooky past is intriguing. Can’t they get someone without all his baggage?

Because he was whitewashed through the Center for American Progress.

He disappeared for a while so people would forget who he was and the nutty things he says.
Now, he’s re-emerged and his radical craziness has been forgiven by the msm. They like him, but they also know he’s a bit too far wacko-Left for most of their viewers.
We’ll see how long he lasts this time before he has to slink back into the shadows again.
