Vote Counting for Presidential Election being outsourced?
Vanity ^ | 4/4/12 | Vanity

I was listening to Michael Savage's show tonight, he mentioned that voting tabulation will be done by a company in Spain? and that once results are reported there's no trail to verify the results. He also had a caller do some research and the CEO of the Company is an Obama donor?

Is this true? and is anyone up in arms over this? Do elected Republicans not even know about this? or do they not care? how about Republican bloggers? where are they?

Just did a Google search and the only I can find are Aaron Klein Youtube links, I'll have to listen to those.

Apologies for the Vanity, but I just felt this issue was too serious to ignore.

First I've heard of it, but it wouldn't surprise me...nothing does, anymore.

(Even where the Repubs might be on this.)

Chavez recommended that company to 0bama during talks.

The states conduct the election, not the Feds.

This doesn’t make any sense since each state counts their own votes using their own process. The winner dependent on the number of states won determines the electoral college count and that is straight forward.

I can’t believe how everyone just blows something like this off. Comments are sarcastic or no surprise, more of the same.

When did we collectively decide to just give up on this country. Ballygrl’s 100% correct, this is too important to ignore. I’ll try to research it but we should be all hands on deck for this kind of thing.

Don’t let them lead us passively to the death trains like the Jews in the Holocaust. Get mad and fight back while you have the option of doing that.

And the tabulation of the votes are going to a company based in Spain, the CEO is an Obama supporter, and there’s no trail to verify the results, this is what Savage said, and I’d love either a confirmation or denial if this is what’s happening, yet I can only find Aaron Klein results via Google.

Yep, I was horrified when I heard him mention this tonight, and was hoping there’d be more outrage over it, but very little being said about it.

This SUCKS!
Look at the chart and read the list of overlapping shell companies. All connections lead back to SmartMatic (Diebold) which is held in the Dutch West Indies. CHAVEZ government was a major player in SmartMatic!

Well thank you for posting it. As I said, I'll try to look into and hopefully some of the others will as well. It makes me so sad to see things like this happen.

I tell my friends, if power-hungry creeps would risk their lives and fortunes to take control of tiny countries like Cuba, what would they do to rule the U.S.

Wake up America. Time to show them their Alinsky tactics aren't foolproof.

And nobody is talking about this, why?

There have been a couple dozen posts about this on FR. The fact is that Americans still count the votes as they come in. This company will put those votes on the Internet as they are reported.

You can be upset about it if you want, but the problems in our voting system run much deeper than the ownership of the company that reports the totals.

SACRAMENTO — Embattled electronic voting machine maker Diebold Election Systems weathered new accusations Wednesday of computer glitches, last-minute software fixes and careless job performances that, in the words of the California secretary of state’s office, “jeopardized the outcome of the March election.”
A state voting systems panel is considering disciplinary action against the firm, which could bruise its standing nationally as states gear up to spend billions of dollars for new touch screen voting equipment.

Diebold President Robert J. Urosevich apologized Wednesday to Secretary of State Kevin Shelley, the eight-member voter systems panel that oversees California voting machinery and to 17 counties that use its varying electronic voting systems.

HOW TWO VOTING MACHINE COMPANIES CAME TO COUNT 80% OF AMERICA’S VOTES

The electronic voting machine industry is dominated by only a few corporations - Election Systems & Software (ES&S), Diebold, Sequoia and Hart Intercivic, but ES&S and Diebold dominate the field: Together they count an estimated 80% of U.S. electronic votes. Looking back at the history of mergers and acquisitions which produced these two giants, one must question if there really is a difference between them. Bob Urosevich is currently president of Diebold and Todd Urosevich is vice president of ES&S. The two brothers started out together in the early days of the electronic voting industry (1980s) and now together they control the market.

Long read but Alek nailed it:

http://alekboyd.blogspot.com/2011/03/smartmatic-revisited.html

Money quote:

“...However the most worrying aspect of this unresolved saga for US electors and authorities is not Blaine’s conflict of interests and altogether untrustworthy character, nor the murky nature of Sequoia and Smartmatic deals. Rather, as content of ruling linked above shows [pages 13-14], it is the fact that Smartmatic software, written and produced in Venezuela by Smartmatic employees, is still in use:...”

The Spanish company in question is called SCYTL. Enough for the interested to start googling. And I too heard Savage discussing it.

You’re right about this. I saw articles a couple of weeks ago about it. The people that need to know this already do. I really don’t think the GOP wants to win this election. If they did they wouldn’t have pushed Romney down our throats. He is the weakest link. God help us.
