Former Law Professor Says Obama Misspoke on Supreme Court
fox news pheonix ^ | 4/4/2012 | NewsCore

Constitutional law scholar Laurence Tribe, a Harvard Law School professor and former mentor to President Barack Obama, said the president "obviously misspoke" earlier this week when he made comments about the Supreme Court possibly overturning the health care law.

Tribe, who calls the president one of his best students, said in an interview, "He didn't say what he meant ... and having said that, in order to avoid misleading anyone, he had to clarify it."

Tribe said he saw no reason for the president to express his views on the matter, because everyone already knows he wants the case upheld.

"I don't think anything was gained by his making these comments and I don't think any harm was done," Tribe said, "except by public confusion."

The dust-up began Monday, when Obama was asked about the law and said it would be a prime example of judicial overreach if the Supreme Court ruled against it.

"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," he said.

Maybe the good Professor can give us Obama’s Law papers or thesis on topics he wrote about while at Harvard.

Here we have exhibit #1 as to why 0baMao is dumber than a box of rocks about the Constitution, a hardcore ideologue and a lying jackass.

Blame your enemies. It’s what Obama does every time he opens his mouth.

When a person is in a job that is clearly over their head -- and they know it -- the defensive response is to focus upon and do those things which they do well and are comfortable doing.

Jimmy Carter's assumption of the task of scheduling the White House tennis courts is a classic example of the tendency. Jimmy was in over his head -- and knew it -- so he became what he'd always been: a micro-manager of small things, a master of minutiae.

We are now seeing the same development in Obama. He can't handle his job, it's beyond his meager abilities -- and he full well knows it. So, he becomes a community agitator, blaming others for his own incompetence. It's something he is supremely good at doing.

Obama is so far out of his league it’s an embarrassment. If he didn’t have the MSM protecting his sorry butt 24/7, the American people would have laughed him off the stage a long time ago. Imagine if GWB, or any other Republican president threatened the Supreme Court the way Obama did. It would be non-stop coverage.

"the reason the white house, larry tribe etc are speaking out is because peeps know kagan leaked and it is coming back on her. The idiot obama spoke out shortly after getting the secret vote count. The supremes know who leaked and kagan is running for cover."

Bump that, biggredd1. Fellow thick-as-thieves anti-American travelers Tribe, Kagan, and Obama are in this travesty of justice together...and they make me sick.

He was reminding them of the unreported meeting with eight of them January 14, 2009 and scolding them with huge Dims’ applause at SOTU address!!!

Why are people so afraid to say that a person who isn’t telling the truth is lying?

We all know Obama was lying and is a consistent liar. In fact, he lies every time he speaks.

I call BS on that one. Lawyers are specifically trained so they do NOT “misspeak”. From HARVARD, no less. Obozo is either a bad lawyer, an incompetent liar, or both.

Larry and Barry are on the same page.
http://frontpagemag.com/2012/01/10/obamas-assault-on-separation-of-powers/
Here, on recess appointments:
“The Obama White House legal team’s lame defense for Obama’s imperious action is that the Senate’s pro-forma sessions were merely dodges to thwart his recess appointment power. This circular reasoning, shared by the left-wing Harvard Law School Professor Laurence Tribe, presupposes that Obama has the authority to determine when the Senate is or is not in recess as opposed to the Senate itself – a blatant assault on the separation of powers.”

By “best student” I expect he meant that Barry swallowed every word he said and regurgitated it verbatim.

Sorry !!

This is real life.

Not a dress rehearsal.

Your opinion is mute.

Obama gets a “NO-GO” on constitutional law.

Next, please.

So, he becomes a community agitator, blaming others for his own incompetence. It's something he is supremely good at doing.

But it's losing its luster, is it not? When the wheels come off this mega-charade it is going to be ugly, shameful, and embarrassing. Something to turn away from, it's so ugly.

And just why is Tribe pimping for the Food Stamp President, formerly the Community Organizer and Pseudo Part Time Constitutional Law Instructor. Can’t Zero just pull up his big boy pants and admit that he had a Slow Joe moment?

The Smartest President in History, according to Valerie Jarrett, misspoke.....yea, right. This prick has the likes of Tribe carrying his water. The man said, with inflection and deliberation and prejudice exactly what he meant to say and convey the message to the Supremes a threat. The mainstay of the democrat is the lie, prevarication, and calumny. It is their stripe and they cannot change and see no need to change.

Jimmeh Cahtuh was ugly, too. But this will be magnitudes more ugly.

Ugly is apt. Shameful and embarrassing are not; liberals are incapable of being shamed or embarrassed.
