George Zimmerman’s Father Tells Hannity Trayvon Martin Followed And Attacked His Son

George Zimmerman‘s father is still in hiding after the national media firestorm that began when his son shot Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, but he spoke out tonight on Hannity, explaining behind a veil of anonymity his son’s side of the story and insisting Zimmerman acted in self-defense. Zimmerman appeared alongside his son’s lawyers, Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig, and argued Zimmerman did not follow Martin and only shot after he found his life in imminent danger.

Host Sean Hannity asked the elder Zimmerman to relate the story of how his son ran into Trayvon Martin. “He had been texting his sister and said he was going to the grocery store,” Zimmerman narrated, “he saw somebody that did not live in the community wandering behind some town homes,” explaining that the town “has had a lot of problems with burglaries.” Zimmerman confirmed to Hannity that his son tutored minority children and had defended a minority child hit by a car in the neighborhood and accused Martin of following Zimmerman to a street corner. “Trayvon came from that area where the sidewalks meet, asked my son whether he had a problem… he said no, and Martin said, ‘well, you do now.’”

The officers whom Zimmerman targeted for accountability in the Sherman Ware incident were all cleared by the Seminole County Sheriff's investigation, despite Zimmerman's repeated accusations that police gave kid-glove treatment to a white officer's son who beat a defenseless, homeless black man.

But 14 months later, at least two of the same officers investigated the shooting death of Trayvon Martin -- and cleared Zimmerman -- even though his voice was the loudest calling for their punishment in the Ware case.

What lovely irony!

Remember, before all this started, George Zimmerman was a registered Donkee. Apparently, of the same stripe as those now calling for his lynching.

IMO the only reason they've gone quiet is to not give the lawyers more fuel for the law suits.

Freepers have the material, links, skills (and connections) to publish some very damning material against the MSM and individuals in it who contributed to this chaos. That material should be organized and repeated by similar news releases or emailed to people like Hannity and Rush. IMO this manipulation by BO and his SOBs (Sons of Barack) is just as much an attempt to manipulate the election as his hidden background. We may not have the access to his records, but we sure can stop this malarkey by flooding what connections we have with the truth.

This interview and the whole Zimmerman/Trayvon thing have reminded me why I don’t like Hannity. Last night, he was very solicitous towards Zimmerman’s father, very gravely eager to make sure the man had his say. He asked the father about the media’s “rush to judgment.” And yet, when this story broke, Hannity was RIGHT THERE ON BOARD with the rest of the media. I remember watching him one night saying, in that smug tone of his, that it certainly looked like Zimmerman was guilty, and condemning him for not listening to the 911 operator. (Never mind that Zimmerman wasn’t legally obligated to do so). But now, Hannity is hoping no one recalls his earlier position.
