Where's the Map?
American Thinker ^ | 5 April 2012 | Jeff Lipkes

On March 13 the Orlando Sentinel published a map of the Twin Lakes community where Trayvon Martin was shot, but no one else seems to have reproduced it. Yet it's impossible to reconstruct the incident without referring to it.

George Zimmerman reports at the beginning of his 911 call that he's on Retreat View Circle, at 111, near the clubhouse, a block from the main entrance to the community, which is off Oregon Avenue. According to the Sentinel's map, the home Trayvon Martin was staying in was further down on Retreat View Circle. (You'll need to check maps.google to get all the street names.) So why doesn't Martin just keep on walking? Zimmerman is trailing him, not blocking his path. If he's really on his way to his dad's fiancee's home, why doesn't he just pick up his pace and continue on back to the house? He would not have had far to go: the house is less than 350 yards from where Zimmerman placed his call.

Ok does not constitute an agreement to do what the other person said. In fact, the person said, we don’t need you to do that. It wasn’t even an order, but a comment. Ok easily can mean, yeah, I hear you.

What I glean from the situation is George wants to give an address where the police can enter the scene, but T is walking behind dwellings and George can’t see the addresses from the back.

He’s trying to position himself to orient himself to the exact location to give them info, when all of a sudden T appears and initiates the attack.

He denies that he was following T but was trying to keep sight of him while getting an address for the cops.

His father said more accurately if anything T followed George after George lost sight of him.

I too have wondered about the complete lack of info on the gas station.

Wouldn’t reporters fan out to every nearby 7-11, looking for the screen capture of St. Skittles making his last buy?

A close in shot of the very shelf where he picked up the Skittles?

Perhaps walked the route, on camera, sort of like the Stations of the Cross, with one final camera shot ominously zooming in on the neighborhood watch sign, at the gated community entrance?

None of this has been done...personally I don’t think there were any Skittles or Tea. The best source I can get for the origination of this idea is the Martin’s race-baiting attorney, speaking on the subject.

I didn’t see these items listed in the police statements...and I haven’t seen any of the witnesses mention these items. Maybe, just maybe, No Limit N_gga was just ‘wandering around’.

I'm also waiting for the MSM to leak Martin's toxicology report.

If Martin had no drugs in his system, I absolutely believe that would be all over the news.

Instead, a six week silence, plus the MSM’s sudden “respect” for the “sealed” autopsy report.

To get a better idea of the distance, imagine a football field. That’s 100 yards. Martin was supposed to have been on the football team so lets say he could run the length of the field in 18 seconds. The author says the gf’s house wase “less than 350 yards” at the beginning of Zimmerman’s call and that at some point Martin was running, so he could have been at the house in a minute or so. However, Zimmerman’s call lasted 4 minutes. Even a combination of walking and loping (as opposed to an all out sprint down a football field) would have had him inside the house before the end of the call. That means Martin didn’t head straight to the house.

Whut?

You think a yoot, who had just been expelled for drug paraphernalia, could be using the whacky weed?

And the media doesn’t want to find that out?

My faith in the media has been dashed.

Al & Jesse will just say the report is false.

0.9 miles, or an 18-minute walk, each way. Map.

Is there a transcript of the call to the girlfriend? I thought all we had is a summary from the girl’s lawyer—who is convinced that Martin was “cornered” and then “pushed.”

Supposedly, the family lawyer, Benjamin Crump, took an affidavit from her not long after the incident. Unless she recorded the call, which is highly unlikely, all we will have is her testimony about what they said and what she heard. Plus, obviously, the exact call times from T-Mobile.

Feet or yards, there’s no way if Martin had been the little angel the msm says he was, it would have taken him over 4 minutes to walk/run the short distance between the mailboxes (B) and where he died (F). A normal person would have booked it straight to the house. He didn’t.

**** Ack, this very minute, CBS news is showing an NAACP protest march. They’re still showing pictures of Martin as a sweet little kid and Zimmerman in jail orange. The Grand Jury meets next week so we’ll have to see if this gets to them or not.

Are you aware that both AZ Tea and Skittles are street names for illegal drugs?

The MSM is happy to edit Zimmerman's 911 call to depict him as a racist. But they are unwilling to publish a map that clearly indicates, when coupled with the call, that Martin didn't choose to do what anyone who felt threatened by a stranger might be expected to do: head for home, less than 1000 feet away. Why doesn't he return to the home?

The MSM is losing interest in this - they wanted to destroy a white conservative... and the poverty pimps wanted to shake down guilty white liberals... and the liberal cable guys didn't want to get caught lying. Not only will there NOT be map - soon there won't be a story...

I know that ‘tea’ is a very old name for marajuana.

Ok, I looked it up.

The first swig of an Arizona Tea, to relieve a parched mouth from bong hits, is called a ‘Mary Jane Tea’.

And ‘Skittles’ is a name for abusing cough syrup.

Hmmm

...personally I don’t think there were any Skittles or Tea.

From DEA website:

DEXTROMETHORPHAN (Street Names: DXM, CCC, Triple C, Skittles, Robo, Poor Man’s PCP)

From another source:

Tea - Marijuana; PCP

What I found was AZ tea is marijuana laced or dipped in PCP
Skittles is Ecstasy.

Others have found variations on the above.

The left have been filling in the blanks with supposition:

Here's my take on conversation with dispatcher.

Dispatchers asks what Trayvon was doing so Zimmerman assumed they wanted him to keep an eye on TM. TM took off. In order to do that (see him) he had to get out of his truck. At that time he said “It's f in cold.
Dispatcher realizing he was outside said “you don't have to do that”
Zimmerman said OK.

When TM started running and Z noted to dispatcher that he was going toward back gate. At that time Z noted “Thugs always get away (through/over the back gate). *He had caught a group going over the fence at the pool, breaking in to club house. It was noted on town page.)
Dispatcher wanted to know where to send the officer, GZ tried to find an address by looking around, walking around the community. He did not know where TM had gone and noted that to dispatcher.

I question from the map that the conversation ended by the fence next to high way and why they were both so far down the middle sidewalk. Was he still looking for an address? Planning to direct police there when they called him.

======================================================= ALSO Why would any one use a racial term to an unseen dispatcher, not knowing what race that person was? Maybe among friends, but never to a stranger.

Old story. May even be true.

When Lyndon Johnson was President, it was his custom to call the Marine Barracks to have a Marine sent as escort for one of his daughters when there was some big "do" in the White House. According to the story, Johnson called the Marine Barracks and made his request. Then he warned the Duty Officer, "No damned Spicks, understand?" The Duty Officer replied, "Yes, sir, no damned Spicks." The night of the event, Ladybird went to the door to let the Marine in. Tall, handsome, and black as the Ace of Spades. Ladybird said, "There must be some mistake." The Marine replied, "No Ma'am, Captain Rodriguez never makes a mistake."

I hope the Captain had transfer orders already in hand.

Re: Jailhouse Orange

Have you seen the side by side comparison of Zimmerman's original booking photograph and the “skin color adjusted” version being used by the MSM?

In the original, Zimmerman's skin is obviously brown and most people would guess he's Hispanic.

In the MSM version Zimmerman is totally white and his jail shirt is some weird purple color.

By the way - I did some research today on the special prosecutor presenting the case against Zimmerman to the Grand Jury.

I think her name is Angela Corey, and I assumed the worst, that she was the Governor's black affirmative action choice.

Wrong - she's white, 57 years old, a career prosecutor, and has handled more than 100 justifiable homicide cases, in Jacksonville, as I recall, which means she is no stranger to the political firestorm of black/white violence.
