If both the shooter and the shootee are black, it's just another ho-hum.
If the shooter is black and shootee is white, again, it is just another ho-hum.
If the shooter is black and shootee is Latino, still a ho-hum.
If the shooter is white and shootee is black, it is a huge story. The shooter must be a racist, vigilante. Jesse, Al, Eric and Barack can all come come out screaming about the systemic racism in this country.
