Not intended to be a shot at you personally S40, just a general comment, so please take no offense...
I am utterly baffled as to why ‘we’ collectively maintain contact of any kind with libs. “Family” to me is what you make it, not an accident of birth.
It’s not arguable that libs are the opposite of what we believe in...in fact who we are as a people. So why make our lives harder, more stress filled and worse overall by associating with people that think we are scum?
Disassociate yourself from liberals at all levels. No ‘family’ is worth it. If they don’t like it, let THEM change their beliefs. Why is it OK for you to ‘change’ but not them?
I look at it like emboldening the enemy. Because that’s just what they are. Those kind of people created and helped to create the mess that is 2012 America. We have to stop providing them with the ‘aid and comfort’ of our ‘tolerance’.

I spoke with a friend today I haven’t spoken with in over 10 yrs. According to him, the reason there are so many illegals is because of the selfish, wealthy CEOs needing maids and gardeners and, get this, I am brainwashed because I believe all the ‘lies’ being told about BO.
It was as if someone poured gasoline on me and lit it. We have known each other since kindergarten so I don’t think he is holding me progressing to shreiking and screaming at him against me.
That being said, I will have plenty of homemade popcorn drizzled with salt and melted butter.
Let the games begin. And since there is ‘no best man’ to win, let it be extra bloody and extra expensive. I deem the name of these lawsuits, Foreplay’.

Let me add one thing. We are lways expected to ‘reach across the aisle’, but all the Republicans have gotten from expecting the same courtesy is some pathetic, purple lipped, insidious, ghetto thug sneering, “We won”.

This is a subject I could go on about (and have ;) for days. But in a nutshell think of these random examples..
“Family” dinners/holiday get-togethers. Often nothing but grief. Why? Because some idiot/idiots there have to perform the lib song and dance and wreck it for everyone...so theese events become points of misery rather than happy occasions.
So why go? Perhaps if we told ‘Mom” that we refused and WHY, she might skip the next invite for that person and 99% of the ‘family’ could enjoy themselves.
Workplace - Why stand at the water cooler (If you HAVE to work with libs at all) and take their BS? If a boss allows libs to run rampant or is one, is it not better for the conservative to seek other, even SELF employment ASAP?
Church - they have gotten so lib because conservatives and truly believing people turn the other cheek rather than tell them “No friggin way will you spew your crap here”. If parishoners stood for their beliefs and stopped catering to the libs around them, the ‘change’ would be spectacular.
It just tweaks my shorts that we DO have options - the option to not further embolden them through our continuing cowardace (afraid of offending friends/family).
Yet many make unsupportable justifications why “Welllllll I HAVE to get along for the sake of XXXXXX...”

All the libs the were part of the extended family have been disowned. They are not welcome.
There is no more civility in discourse, since the Democrap Party is now functionally an arm of CPUSA.
I have stopped doing business with companies run by libs, since, besides being obnoxiously in your face if they disagree with you, they can not do their (censored) jobs. Expecting them to even keep posted business hours is a hate crime. Used to be that business could be kept separate from politics. That was when there were sort of adults on both sides.
Today, I will not socialize with a liberal. I will do business with a liberal only as an absolute last resort. I left one far left state (Minnestoopid) due to the toxic atmosphere - since I did business with Flint Hills Resources, a.k.a. the eeeeviiiiillll Koch Brothers, I was evil and ate babies for breakfast.
And we have already reached the point where if a liberal physically assaults someone, a judge rules that the liberal was merely exercising his right of political free expression.
