How Sturdy Is the Obama Narrative that 'Keeps Us Silent'?
The American Thinker ^ | 4-7-12 | Monte Kuligowski

Posted on 04/07/2012 7:01:20 AM PDT by afraidfortherepublic

Count Roger Kimball in among those who recognize the totalitarian atmosphere somehow created to protect President Obama. The entire range of questions related to Mr. Obama's possible ineligibility for the presidency has been rendered taboo.

Recently, Kimball wrote a piece affirming the brave observations of Diana West found in her piece, "Silence of the Lapdogs." In her essay, West explains why the incriminating findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's investigative team are not common knowledge.

Regarding the nativity story of Barack Obama, Kimball notes that "[i]t's not just that you are not allowed to express certain opinions about the subject. You are not even allowed to publicly entertain any questions about it."

The accepted Obama narrative has been a secure fortress for Obama. The president stays inside its walls unruffled, with lifted chin. The narrative "keeps us silent" even though in reality it's a house of cards.

To present the accepted narrative I will use the words which John Hawkins wrote in response to Mr. Kimball's piece linked to above, "Annals of censorship."

I choose John Hawkins not because I find his thinking and writing abilities to be on par with Kimball's, but because Hawkins nicely encapsulates the narrative blindly accepted by so many.

Mr. Hawkins begins his piece, "Nobody is censoring birther nonsense," with: "Respectfully, I have to say that Roger Kimball is so far off base here that he's practically on the wrong planet." Hawkins ironically dismisses the following, believing any discussion on the subject is "silliness:"

Yes. We need to trust.

In Bible class last week we talked about the legacy of Caleb, whose claim to fame is that when faced with the giants of Canaan he still said they should believe that the LORD would give them that land simply because He said He would. Though Israel sided with the 8 spies who cowered and that generation was not allowed to enter the promised land, Caleb and Joshua - the two spies with faith - were allowed to see the LORD’s promise fulfilled. And that same strength of faith may be why the LORD was able to raise up Caleb’s nephew Othniel as a faithful leader for Israel when she cried to the LORD for help.

One of the things that keeps coming up from the history of Israel is that the thing that most hindered Israel was her own people forgetting their need for the LORD, falling away, and refusing to call on Him for help. Once they called for help He was ALWAYS there to deliver them.

Sometimes the faithful ended up sharing the same earthly fate as the faithless. If there had been 9 faithful people in Sodom and Gomorrah it would not have been enough to save those places. I hope America wakes up and that there are enough faithful people here that the LORD can spare us. Usually people ignore danger until it can no longer be ignored, and then they call on the LORD. I want people to know the danger so they will know we are in desperate need and it’s definitely time to call on Him.

Thanks for plugging away. It’s all any of us can do, and I think we’ve all experienced the same kinds of things and been discouraged. I do believe what we’re doing is making a difference though. I believe people are gradually seeing that something is very wrong. Obama doesn’t act like an American. On the superficial things, yeah. But not on the core matters of what America is.

Obama has done so much that is so wrong, that no matter who you’re talking to there has to be something about his record that should scare the crap out of them. Maybe people aren’t worried about his eligibility, but would be very alarmed by the fact that his regime is arming the Mexican drug cartels with guns (without any tracking devices installed) and then making sure that the border is open for the cartels and their ally, Hezbollah, to come in at will. As much as the illegals want to be able to come in themselves I don’t think they would like it that not only does Holder let the drug cartels follow them into the country - Holder ARMS the drug cartels first and THEN lets them follow into the US.

Maybe they think they’re on Obama’s good side. But it should trouble them that at a moment Obama could be saying that he is the only person standing between them and the pitchforks (that he and his hustlers will round up on buses to harass even the people he’s been pals with...)

The college women who think he’s wonderful because he will give them free birth control might think twice when they realize that he told the Egyptian ambassador that he supports the Muslim agenda - especially if they realize that the Muslim agenda includes sharia, which would not only keep them from getting birth control and abortions but would also keep them from driving, wearing anything but a burka in public, being in a room with a non-relative male, or have their testimony count in court.

Those who love his food-czar wife might think twice about him having as science czar and regulatory czar a couple of guys who believe it is fine for the government to sneak sterilants into the water because 90% of the world’s population has a duty to die to save “Mother Earth”.

It was sobering to some of the kids at the school to find out that if Obama thought my blog is “belligerent” he could haul me off to Gitmo and keep me there forever without telling anybody why I was there or giving anybody a chance to defend me. I have to confess that I did not process the danger as I should have when the liberals were saying that Bush would haul off normal people because of false accusations of terrorism. I didn’t think Bush would do that. I have no doubts that Obama would if he thought he could get away with it or it was necessary for his own agenda. So far nobody’s been able to seriously challenge him because he’s got the media bribed so it’s not been an issue (at least that I know of). But I now recognize that the libs were right to say we need protection - because at all times there will be somebody in office that half the population doesn’t trust, and we need to be protected from false charges.

Those who want more and more government “services” might now be able to look at Greece and see what can happen. Or if they are made aware of the Cloward-Piven Plan and how it may have already put us in a place to be hostage to a communist-Islamist alliance, they might think twice. My daughter is 12 and when she talks to her friends she just says she doesn’t like Obama because he’s put us so far into debt that we will never be able to pay it off. I think she’s probably a better spokesperson than I am. lol

A lot of people aren’t directly receptive to the eligibility issue at first. But if we can find out what they DO care about and point out Obama’s scary action on that issue, they may begin to see a pattern that will eventually lead them to realize that he got into office by taking us all hostage and he’s been holding us hostage ever since. The elibibility crimes are just a few more dots that add to the overall picture of a thug who has lied his way into office so he could deliberately destroy this country.

As butter has asked - Email people you know. Give them what they can digest.

I have an group I email with updates. Most people do not follow forums or read blogs. So they do not know. But if they get an email from somewhat they know they will at least read it.

I have not had anyone respond and ask to not get updates or respond with anything negative or telling to me ‘to give it up’. I send the emails to myself and blind copy everyone else (bcc). Some people want more detail and I follow up more one on one with details.

You need to point people the work of Sheriff Arpio. This theory is no longer a theory. It is now outside the ‘blog-o-sphere and forum-sphere’.

Here a sample I recently sent out:

*************************************

All,

March 31, 2012 Press Conference.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uICO4l5PRcs&feature=youtu.be

This is very long - almost 2 hours. But it is a good update on the status of the forgeries of the LFBC and the Selective Service form.

11:00 minute mark - person who met with Trump recounts how Trump indicated his sources said a birth certificate would come out - 3 weeks before it did.

13:45 - Sheriff Apio gives thanks to his wife of 55 years. At 14:10 he indictes she used start his car every day - “until this stuff”.

40:00 - Lead investigator Mike Zullo. He goes over videos that they seem to have redone since the original press conference.

At this point is all but confirmed that the birth certificate number for Obama was stolen from an infant that died after 1 day in 1961. That infant was Virginia Sunahara. Hawaii DOH is currently denying her family access to her records against their own policy. A suit that was filed to force the Hawaii Deparement of Health (HDOH) to release the records at the request of the family was dismissed by a judge.

Information on the recent lawsuit dismissed.

This activity will not get covered by the regular media. But the Sheriff remains on the correct path and has validated what many have known for years.

Here is a surprisingly good piece from a local CBS station:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ikaajbOEWpk

***********************************************

Be sure to send things like this your friends who are ex-military or ex-law enforcement or current.

Other than my own family no one else makes fun of this stuff anymore. Many I email are in the legal profession or are former military and former law-enforcement. They have a very somber view of this. It gets more serious every month.

Get the word out. Use the sample above or create your own. Just get it out. Direct/personal emails may be best. Social media is being tracked and countered. I do not use facebook or twitter for such information.

Email, email, email. Email until they tell they do not want it. Do not be afraid to be laughed at a little bit and if someone does not like it - just drop them off your next update. But unless people ask to be dropped off - keep sending. They will absorb it at their speed. Let them do so. But keep the message flowing.

One day Rush mentioned Arpaio in the context of the forged documents story being suppressed. This suppression was covered by a mainstream outlet. This is how he danced around the edges w/o being threatened by the thugs.

Excellent counsel. The word of mouth is all we’ve ever really had, and look how far it’s brought us.

It’s easy to get discouraged because when Soros wants something to hit the big-time he’s got a network to get it going and you end up with a sudden flash in the pan like Kony 2012. What we’ve got is slower but it’s more durable because of it. When people catch on to what Obama’s been up to it changes their view of everything in the news and it doesn’t make a fast, shallow ripple. It makes a deep powerful wave that didn’t start easily and won’t end easily either.

I believe you that people who have been in the military and law enforcement take this seriously. This is an assault on everything this country stands for.

And I also believe you that the only people you hear making fun are your own family members. “A prophet is not without honor except in his own hometown.” It’s so true. Just know that you’re not alone in that. I’ve got my siblings telling me I’m crazy because nobody would ever think it worth their time to attack my computer (for instance) and I’ve got my husband telling me I’m crazy because I should know the attacks are never going to stop until I stop working on this, and I’m putting my family at risk. (Talk about cognitive dissonance! You ever feel like you’re living in a parallel universe? lol)

I went to an Easter vigil tonight and was struck again with the realization that when the women went to bed on Saturday night their world was upside-down, with everything they had believed in and hoped for pulled out from underneath them. They awoke thinking they had a painful, hopeless task ahead - to keep the dead body of their Lord from stinking up the place as it decayed.

Nothing is impossible. Never give up.

I was listening to Bob Grant today on WABC during the last 40 minutes of his show. He took calls from three people questioning Obama’s eligibility. The last call was from a woman who discussed what a natural born citizen is and the fact that Obama isn’t one, therefore he is ineligible.

He said he knows of one prominent radio personality who would love to talk about this, but can’t and discourages callers from bringing it up.

I was amazed that Grant didn’t get hysterical and hang up on his callers like some radio personalities have. He just matter of fact talked about it.

He said he hopes that Arpaio comes across because if he doesn’t, he’s not going to bother worrying about it anymore. I guess he didn’t get the memo from the higher ups telling him to drop it or his life would be in danger and the radio station would lose its license.

I don’t believe for a minute that my democrat friends - good people - would vote for Obama if they knew the lawless threats he has made

Your democrat friends prefer not to know the truth because it is inconvenient. That way they can maintain plausible deniability.
