.....We viewed it was a courtesy visit,” Perry’s spokesman Ray Sullivan told CNN.

While Sullivan did not discuss specifics of the conversation, he confirmed that Perry remains a supporter of Newt Gingrich.

After dropping out of the race in January, Perry endorsed the former speaker, largely supporting his emphasis of states’ rights. Since then, the Texas Governor has worked as a Gingrich campaign surrogate.

He’d make a good president. Maybe he’ll be rested, ready and fully engaged for 2016.

[ I'd say you're off on that much shift to Paul.]

This is not my belief, it is based in actual inside info. The remaining Newt supporters, (about 5%) are “Anybody but Romney hold outs” who refuse to support Santorum, so they will likely go to Paul if Newt has to drop out. Most of the Newt supporters who wanted Newt because they thought he had the best chance to beat Obama, have already left Newt, favoring Romney with a few going to Santo.

When you think about it, this explanation makes the most logical sense.

What a dream ticket.....wow.

It certainly is. It's a shame it didn't work out.

“I guess they’d all rather have Romney.”

Hell yes. Bishop Willard is preferred only by Gauleiters and kapos.

I would go for that especially if Perry was to be President.

All of the so called conservatives who attacked Perry for relatively insignificant things have given us pro-gay, pro-abortion, pro-Obama care, pro cap’n trade and anti-gun Romney.

Cutting off one’s nose not only to spite their face but because they are blind too.

Thanks “conservatives”.

BTW: FUMR!

Found this YouTube clip on Perry’s “53 seconds” vs. BO’s “other seconds”

BTW wasn’t Perry on pain meds during the debates, and that affected his performance? A shame how that affected his fortunes.

I think alot of the Perry bashing we saw here was from a small group of frustrated Palin supporters, IMO. It certainly wasn’t typical of Palin supporters in general.

The more it became obvious that Palin wasn’t running, the more that small but vocal clique lashed out at Perry.

It was unfortunate, even childish, and certainly reflected poorly on the ones involved.

I never saw that before. I don’t doubt it, though.

Something to pray for.

Thanks for posting that. Yes, Perry was on meds during those early debates. What lousy timing. He was excellent in the later ones, but the fickle public wasn’t willing to give him another chance.

Gov Perry is loyal to Newt. Who knows what was said or hinted at during the meeting which Perry only attended as a courtesy. While Sullivan did not discuss specifics of the conversation, he confirmed that Perry remains a supporter of Newt Gingrich. Texas has the Bush family on Romney's side and Gov Perry and Chuck Norris are with Newt.

Amen, sister. I wish that so much also.

He would have been so much better than what’s left.

It was beyond disgusting. I still have a list of the perps. I will never respect anything any of them say on any subject. Don’t see them much any more though.
