SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- Spartanburg County deputies are investigating a burglary, where two people were shot and killed.
The Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office says it happened shortly after midnight Saturday at the 300 Building of Lees Crossing Apartments on Powell Mill Road.
When deputies arrived they found two people lying on the ground outside the apartment window behind several air conditioning units.
Deputies say the resident of the apartment building shot the two suspects. One suspect died on the scene, the other was taken to the hospital where he died.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says Michael Deangelo Gentry-Hill Jr. and Darren Tyree Ty Hill both from Spartanburg died from gun shots wounds.
The Sheriffs Office says there is not a threat to the community. Investigators have spoken with the resident of the apartment and no charges has been filed at this time.

In that by far the majority of such crimes are BOB, there should be a considerable uptick in BOB w/resultant fatality of the criminal perpetrators. While a lot of the media emphasis has been on this outcome with BOW, numerically the biggest gains should be in the black community.
First thing I thought of was a neglected surgical tool.
I wonder why the first thing I thought of was, “cleavage”? (not “rusty” though.
LOL!
Maybe you read it as “Lusty Clevenger”
Black on black as contrasted with BOW.

Link to article has pictures of the dead. I feel no sympathy for home invaders. They’re a creepy lot.
And it's likely the same as that of the home defender.
It's certainly the same as that of Chiquita Turner who said that as a mother said the doctrine makes her feel more at ease.
The Castle Doctrine part of state common law for years became official here in 2006. It says you can shoot if someone is trying to invade your residence or business.
She also said she was going to get a gun. I hope someone will take her to the range and teach how to use it. I hate of think that some thug who invades her home might only be wounded. I'd do it, but SC is a bit far from Texas. Any SC FReepers that could help the lady?
One perp was a black African- American and t’other was a beige African-American.
The country is better off with two less thugs to worry about.
I agree.
It has a kind of "Dale Dribble" ring to it.
Spartanburg County has the right kind of sheriff, and I think everyone should have one like this.
Back in October, he called a news conference and urged everyone to arm themselves and learn how to shoot.
I’m not sure if I can quote from this news source, so I’ll paraphrase:
After a woman was attacked and raped, Sheriff Chuck Wright said our system of justice is broken, and until it gets fixed, go buy yourself a big old pistol and learn how to blow away the bad guys. The sheriff called the rapist “an animal.”
Well, I'm glad no charges has been filed.
I'm not so glad somebody who can't write has a job writing news stories.
Maybe ABC News can doctor his image to make him look more white too? Like they did for George Zimmerman?
They bleached the image and even narrowed his head to make him look more caucasian... see here:
The above image demonstrates the FIFTH demonstrated doctoring of evidence by the MSM!
With regard to the image above, it cannot be said that it happened somehow by accident. These are major news agencies with the best equipment and image manipulation skills on the planet. This is more deliberate manipulation of the news and associated images to create anger and promote a particular line of propaganda.
link to the article...pictures...I think they’re hispanic.
