It was a fable for our times:
Once upon a time, a nice young man set off from his dad's fiancée's home before the NBA All-Star game to buy some Skittles and Arizona Tea for his stepbrother. Although the lad was seventeen, he looked like a cute twelve-year-old. Along came a burly ex-con racist vigilante who didn't like the idea of a young African-American male walking around his gated community at night. The cop-wannabe stalked the frightened boy, cornered him, and then shot him. But the racist police didn't arrest the murderer. The conscience of the nation was stirred. Protests erupted from coast to coast. The gunning down of young, unarmed black males by white Rambos -- and the occasional "white Hispanic" -- is an all-too-common occurrence in the US of A.
Now the MSM narrative is unraveling, thanks to Al Gore's nifty invention, the internet. The average MSNBC viewer may not have the smarts and curiosity to do a Google search, but other people do. A lot of the searches wind up at the sites of the Orlando Sentinel and the city's Fox affiliate, Channel 35, both of which have provided good coverage.
Now other local papers are running stories about the "complexity" of the case.
We've learned a little more about Trayvon Martin. Since his record of suspensions and his posts and pictures, with tats and grill, from his Myspace and Twitter accounts surfaced on the web, columnists are less likely to enthuse about him, as a WaPo blogger did on March 18:
By all accounts, Trayvon was a good kid[.] ... He had dreams of becoming a pilot. He was good at math. ... Trayvon's English teacher described him "as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness."

Assuming that ALL of the evidence is in his favor, which it so far looks like, and he’s not charged...
I’m under no illusion that any amount of money will be enough to restore the man’s reputation or even guarantee his safety.
His life has been ruined by so called “journalists”, the pResident, Congress scum, politicians of various stripe, race hustlers and even here on FR.
They might want to, but they wont make it.
Example. During the King (shopping spree) riots in LA, and I'll never forget this. We sat in Barney"s Beanery and watched a group of about 15 'rioters' spill out a side street on to Santa Monica. A collective look of dismay wash over all their faces as they realized life was going on as per usual. Whitey wasn't afraid. There had been a few unsuccessful attempts to loot Beverly Center, but the cops were holding the line at La Cienega Bl.
I have no doubt there is a substantial undercurrent of those just itching for another opportunity to get their loot on. But it's strictly opportunistic greed, and their focus will be on retailers.
I thought the remark was funny...like sarcasm.

I have a feeling they’ll head for the suburbs, exurbs and rural areas this time, thinking that Mr. Obama in the White House will keep them from being punished for looting, mayhem, rape and carjacking. Will we acquiesce or fight?
A whole lot of what I like to call “saloon courage” mentality going on in here. If they move their rioting, looting, etc., to the suburbs, rural areas, they aren’t going to be empty handed. They will be armed to the teeth. And it doesn’t take large numbers to cow a large population. What percentage of the German population was made up of brownshirts? Very small, yet they cowed a much larger population into submission. Same for the Communists when they first gained control of the Soviet Union.
Your description of the look on their collective faces made me literally LOL. :) Priceless.
I am describing gang fights black on black as well as black on Latino. I’ve never personally seen a black attack a white or vice versa. The vast majority of crime is intra-racial.

Here in NJ we have such segregation it would be hard for them to do much outside of the “urban reservations”; the cops’ families are sleeping in the ‘burbs that ring the reservations, and no cop is going to let anything happen to them.
The media will do their best to continue to spout the original story line. Yesterday after church I was talking to a conservative lady who had heard none of the exculpatory information which has come out that Zimmerman was in fact acting in self-defense.
Too many people have made their minds up on this case. If Zimmerman is not charged or if he is acquitted, the rioting may be worse than after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.
When the ghetto escalates its rioting. After they clean everything out of their own hoods they will venture out into the suburbs and rural areas. Thats when they will face serious opposition. An armed suburbia isnt going to sit pack and watch a flash mob plow through a neighborhood like they would a 7-11
The MSM will play whatever happens to the benefit of democrats.
They’re already building the case that even if blacks are more violent, even if they’re the people killing other blacks, that somehow it’s the fault of whites. As silly and stupid as that seems, it won’t be long before elite liberals believe it and it filters down to union goons and teachers...
So don’t wish for violence OR peace. Wish for truth... it’s one of the few weapons our side has...
As for well aimed shots just pick the one or two who seem to be “in charge” and take them down. Most cases it will result in a rout by the rest of the mob. Usually pretty easy to spot the “leader” in these situations.

I have a theory about the psychology of the average psycopath thug, which I will hereby elucidate if you don't mind.
A thug, like everyone, has a certain scale of values; on this scale he places his own life and also the life of others that he encounters.
Now there are two peculiarities about the psychopath's scale of values:
1. The psycho's scale of values is inverted, in the sense that he wishes to destroy the things that he estimates to be of greatest value to society or humanity. In effect, he hates them and wishes them harm.
2. He counts his life cheap compared to the lives of others. With the inversion of his values and priorities, this means that he will seek to destroy more valuable lives before his own.
Let us look at this set of valuations from a game theory standpoint, in the case where the thug is about to commit a murder. Keep in mind that by my theory, the murder will be committed against someone whom the thug places higher on the scale of values than his own.
Here are the possible outcomes of the murder or attempted murder, in decreasing scale of desirability from the thug's perspective:
1. He does the murder, is detected, and goes through the justice system but nevertheless gets off scot free or nearly so.
This is the overall greatest gain, because he has rubbed out a life of more value to society than his own, preserved his own life in the process, and caused expense, grief, and degradation of the social order in the process.
2. He does the murder, but is not caught. Still, society is down one positive life, and an existing negative one (his own) is preserved.
3. He does the murder, but is killed in the process. He is still satisfied, because society is down one positive life and one negative one of much less value. Still a net loss for society.
4. He does the murder, is caught, and given a heavy penalty--death or life in prison. Still a net loss to society in the loss of a valuable life, and the costs it has to incur in catching, prosecuting, and punishing him.
5. He attempts murder but fails; he is caught and punished. Now, he doesn't even have the elimination of a positive life to show for his crime, but at least he has caused all the costs to society of catching and punishing him.
6. He attempts murder, failing, and is killed on the spot himself. There is no loss of a positive life, little police/court/prison cost to society, and a negative life (his own) is taken off the books.
It is only in this last scenario that the psychopath truly loses, according to his own scale of values.

Asking a serious question here....anyone know if, during previous mass rioting (’68, Rodney King riots, etc., etc.), the “rioters” tried hitting the ‘burbs or surrounding countryside? I think “no”, but.....?
Just trying to get a little historical data to support or shoot down my contention here.
They won’t come out here. During the L.A. riots 20 years ago, a few gangbangers threatened to come to Simi Valley....

That's a lot of hard work. So I'll give it about a 20% chance. Just sayin'...
