The Story Unravels: New Questions about Trayvon Martin's Final Hour
American Thinker ^ | April 9, 2012 | Jeff Lipkes

Posted on 04/09/2012 12:23:58 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

It was a fable for our times:

Once upon a time, a nice young man set off from his dad's fiancée's home before the NBA All-Star game to buy some Skittles and Arizona Tea for his stepbrother. Although the lad was seventeen, he looked like a cute twelve-year-old. Along came a burly ex-con racist vigilante who didn't like the idea of a young African-American male walking around his gated community at night. The cop-wannabe stalked the frightened boy, cornered him, and then shot him. But the racist police didn't arrest the murderer. The conscience of the nation was stirred. Protests erupted from coast to coast. The gunning down of young, unarmed black males by white Rambos -- and the occasional "white Hispanic" -- is an all-too-common occurrence in the US of A.

Now the MSM narrative is unraveling, thanks to Al Gore's nifty invention, the internet. The average MSNBC viewer may not have the smarts and curiosity to do a Google search, but other people do. A lot of the searches wind up at the sites of the Orlando Sentinel and the city's Fox affiliate, Channel 35, both of which have provided good coverage.

Now other local papers are running stories about the "complexity" of the case.

We've learned a little more about Trayvon Martin. Since his record of suspensions and his posts and pictures, with tats and grill, from his Myspace and Twitter accounts surfaced on the web, columnists are less likely to enthuse about him, as a WaPo blogger did on March 18:

By all accounts, Trayvon was a good kid[.] ... He had dreams of becoming a pilot. He was good at math. ... Trayvon's English teacher described him "as an A and B student who majored in cheerfulness."

"So what?" the left responds....

Stolen cars, SUVs, busses, their own vehicles, pickups with 15 in the back like Somalia, hijacked semi trucks (fill the trailers with armed vandals) and stolen police vehicles.

We selected a cul-de-sac. No matter how many approach, they are surrounded and can't readily escape, unless they come at the back through the woods, where it's hard going and even harder to flee a rifle. We can see the entire plain of the forest through the trees for a quarter mile.

Isn’t that a picture of him saying “I would like to purchase one bag of Skittles please”?

Waglist - Evidence that Trayvon Martin Doubled Back

I guess waglist can't get where GZ's location was from the first encounter. Note that thay say GZ was parked at 'C' location.

Which is quite the opposite from the 911 tape where GZ says:

Zimmerman: We’ve had some break-ins in my neighborhood and there’s a real suspicious guy. It’s Retreat View Circle. The best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle.

This guy looks like he’s up to no good or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around looking about.

*Martin walks near Zimmerman's SUV as he heads towards the clubhouse.

Here is where Zimmerman says: “Now he’s coming towards me.”

dispatcher: Did you see what he was wearing?

**At this point when Zimmerman answers "yeah" On the call, you can hear Zimmerman's rustling, and perhaps he’s twisting his body around to look out the back of the SUV.

ZIMMERMAN : "Yeah, a dark hoodie like a gray hoodie. He wore jeans or sweat pants and white tennis shoes. He’s here now … he’s just staring."

This is where Martin stops in front of the clubhouse and stares at the vehicle.

If Zimmerman was always parked at 'C' TWIN TREES location, then he couldn’t have seen Martin walking towards the clubhouse while “wandering around, looking at all the houses” as he said prior. He wouldn't have seen TM until he was already at the clubhouse. GZ must have driven to reach his final parking position by (either turning around or backing up) - and in doing so, followed TM by car as well as on foot.

A simmple question from Weird Guy to Martin and perhaps a statement explaining that he was Neighborhood Watchman, would have been suffice when first encountering Martin.

But Wierd guy calls 911 instead, as he noticed Martin was walking down Retreat View heading towards the clubhouse. Martin noticed Weird Guy staring at him from a vehicle which was sitting at the intersection of Retreat View Circle and Twin Trees.

Martin was at the clubhouse under the canopy being stared at by Weird Guy then left.

Weird Guy then chose either to turn around or back up to then follow down Twin Trees using his vehicle. Martin notices Weird Guy is now following him and starts to run.

After parking at curve on Twin Trees. Weird Guy then chose to exit his vehicle leaving his keys in the ignition and follow on foot, all the while ignoring the dispatcher, ignoring the Neighborhood Watch guidlines outlined in his manual, ignoring Wendy Dorival, the police officer who coordinated his neighborhood watch program and everything she had told him in September 2011. Added up = Stuck-on-Stupid.

I wouldn't be suprised if Weird Guy didn't learn anything from his mandatory anger-management counseling either, as he certainly appears on tape to gradually getting more frustrated and angry. Add some fear to the equation = Heat-of-Passion.

Armed + Stuck-on-Stupid + Heat-of-Passion = A deadly combination.

I'm sure anyones run-in with this guy at that moment could have ended in a similar situation. Or the Stuck-on-Stupid Weird Guy's injuries would have required much more than just a few minutes of SFD's treatment in the back seat of a squad car.

Still wonder about the injury on Zimmermans head. It looks to be right on the top or very close to the top of his head. Zimmerman said he was flat on his back with Martin pounding his head into the pavement, so it seems injury would be further down on his head. Could he have banged the top of his head getting out of his vehicle?

Eyes need to be checked? The injury to his head is exactly where it would be if his head was slammed against the pavement. It is NOT on top of his head and, no, he didn't hit his head on his vehicle while disembarking from it. What a stupid statement. Maybe your friends on DU can come up with a better story to try and spread dissent among FReepers.

Nothing like having your own agenda. Fantasize much? Calling Zimmerman “weird guy” kind of gives your prejudice away, doesn’t it? The truth is, Martin could have simply gone on to the house he was staying in and nothing would have happened. Instead he chose to act like a black male hoodlum and get the guy(Zimmerman)he thought had “dissed” him”. This stupidity on Martin’s part cost him his life. BTW, Zimmerman was also taken to the hospital. His wounds were not “taken care of by the EMTs” but merely treated prior to going to the hospital. The fact that he had wounds at all, shows that the shooting was justified.

So what happens when they (the black rioters) reach the wealthy suburbs and find that they are not filled with only whites, but there are nice black families living there as well..... how does that play out?

Soul brother signs on the lawns? When rioters were looting and burning stores years ago, black-owned businessses had soul brother signs in the windows.

Seems to me you’re the one who is the “weird guy, stuck on stupid”. Thinking is not a high priority for you, I see. I do see you like to run your mouth, without anything of actual substance coming out of it.

If Zimmerman is not charged or if he is acquitted, the rioting may be worse than after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Then we'll end up with a lot more dead Trayvons.

I think there's a possibility the photo of Trayvon shooting a bird has been Photoshopped to include the hand extending the middle finger. There is an identical (identical) photo without the hand. Unless he was able to maintain exactly the same pose, meaning neither shoulder moved when he lifted his hand (and his eyes didn't move, nor did his head in relation to the folding closet doors), then this photo shooting a bird is a composite. The lighting on the hand doesn't match the lighting on the rest of the body, either.

We have another Freeper who has posted a composite photo showing both photos at once: the photo, without the hand, and the photo with the hand.

Check my posts; I'm not a Martin apologist.

What's the original source of the photo with the hand supposed to be?

"all the while ignoring the dispatcher"

That would be the case if the dispatcher said don't follow Martin. But he didn't. When the dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following Martin and Zimmerman said yes, the dispatcher said "you don't have to do that."

Read the transcript.

We live in a world where people say "drop the gun, now" if they want you to drop the gun. They don't say "you don't have to hold the gun." They say "step out of your vehicle." They don't say "you don't have to stay in your vehicle." It's not just semantics. "Don't follow him" and "you don't have to do that" are two completely different things. The next time you're pulled over for speeding and the law enforcement officer walks up to your car, see if he or she says "put both hands on the wheel where I can see them" or "you don't have to hold your hands in a place where I can't see them."

I'm open to speculation from all sides, but not if you need to intentionally distort what the dispatcher said so that you can claim that Zimmerman was 'all the while ignoring the dispatcher." Have an agenda, do you?

Ah, OK, thanks for the info.

Not a problem. There's plenty out there to suggest Martin wasn't a choirboy (most of which I think is irrelevant to the shooting), but I fear this photo is one of the ones that was doctored. Of course, anything doctored that's considered pro-Zimmerman is said by the media to have been doctored by "white supremacist" groups. When NBC edits the 911 tape to make it seem as if Zimmerman was volunteering Martin's race, or CNBC claimed that Zimmerman uttered a racial epithet but quickly figured out he didn't but neglected to change its story or issue a retraction, or ABC doctored the video of Zimmerman's head wounds, or the media lightened Zimmerman's photo so that his skin was white (to the point that his orange shirt became pink) - they don't seem to find some disparaging term for doctoring, like the 'white supremacist' term they throw out if the doctoring's done by somebody who isn't promoting their storyline. The media's doctoring is just a 'mistake.'

“Update #2, Thursday, 5:25 p.m. EDT: The Daily Caller has received a tip that the image above, showing Martin with his middle finger extended, also exists in a different form without the hand in the foreground. It’s likely that the two images were successive photos shot from the same camera at roughly the same time. It’s also remotely possible, but less likely, that Martin himself added the hand before posting the image to his Twitter account in 2011. In any event, the version of the image with the hand is the one that Martin used when his Twitter handle was “T33ZY_TAUGHT_M3.” That image, with the hand, was archived in 2011 both by Twitter and by PeopleBrowsr, the social analytics website whose database was the source for the material described in this article.  ”

Aren't you making assumptions about which houses Martin was wandering around and from which direction he approached the clubhouse?

So where are you getting those nifty yellow bubbles with times and addresses for where Martin was at different times? What's your source?

Thanks. Let me find the other photo and pull them both into Photoshop CS 5.5 to see what artifacts of digital manipulation may exist.

I have a feeling they'll head for the suburbs, exurbs and rural areas this time,

I remember some years ago listening to some surly Blacks in a drug program talking about "going to Mayberry to raise some hell." They seemed to think their experience with carrying Saturday night specials in the streets qualified them as fearsome creatures to the simple white country boobs.

I felt humbly obliged to remind them that the boobs in Mayberry have been carrying long guns since they were ten years old, and had ample experience stalking and shooting targets the size of squirrels and rabbits. Didn't think targets the size of 200 pound loudmouths would be much of a challenge for them. They didn't like that much.
