No, you can get real gas at many stations. Check out www.pure-gas.org that mylife posted above. We have many stations in Oklahoma that sell real gas. We never put ethanol in our vehicles.

My 74 Porsche 914 required 91 octane. I purchased it from a guy in Mira Mesa in 1987. By that time, the gas was tainted with MTBE. That stuff destroyed the rubber hoses in the fuel system. I've replaced the hoses completely on two occasions. A new fuel pump too. Annoying and expensive. The car has been parked in my garage in Idaho since 2001. No time, money or competent mechanics to keep the maintenance at the level required to keep it on the road.
My best ever premium leaded gas purchase in San Diego was 25.9 cents per gallon. It was a "gas war" in the Summer of 72. Too bad it was barely a one gallon purchase for my motorcycle.

Am I the only one who picked up on this....."The RFS program was created under the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) of 2005, and established the first renewable fuel volume mandate in the United States. As required under EPAct, the original RFS program (RFS1) required 7.5 billion gallons of renewable- fuel to be blended into gasoline by 2012.
The Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) of 2007...increased the volume of renewable fuel required to be blended into transportation fuel from 9 billion gallons in 2008 to 36 billion gallons by 2022.
As a reminder the Republican Party controlled both the House and Senate as well as the Presidency in 2005, so we can not blame this boondoggle on the RATS.
Something else to thank that feckless, clueless, Compassionate Conservative RINO, Boosh for!!!

What are you drinking or what kind of “feel good” pills are you taking?
You can’t be serious.

Thanks for the correction. That was one of those ass-u-me statements on my part. I’ve been told you can buy avgas at Bridgeport.

Don’t know about Bridgeport. I’ve read that there is a station in Fairmont, but at more than 40 miles, it does me no good. I also hear that marinas in Parkersburg and Sutton have raw gas, but again too far for me.
For my trailered outboard and other small motors I double up on Sta Bil and use only fresh gas (10%E)....the truck and car are on their own :(

Reduced fat or fat free milk used to be called BLUE JOHN, and that was punishable by law.
Now it's touted as the wonder of the ages!

The government may as well dump poison in the drinking water. It’s the same idea.

It’s not just the water in it.
The mileage is worse, and it takes more energy to produce.
Ethanol is lose-lose-lose.
