Jarvis group launches 'Don't Sign the Petition' anti-tax campaign

Less than a week after Gov. Jerry Brown started using robotic telephone calls and mailers to gather signatures for his ballot initiative to raise taxes, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association plans to launch its anti-tax campaign today on the conservative "John and Ken" talk radio show.

The taxpayers group this morning posted a red banner on its website inviting viewers to join a "Don't Sign the Petition" campaign. The banner links to a campaign website opposing Brown's effort to raise the state sales tax and income taxes on California's highest earners.

Those of us stuck here in CA need to help spread the word on this to keep this thing either off the ballot or below the 2/3 majority needed to pass.

I am in California and the one I am dreading will be on the ballot is the molly Monger tax initiative it raises everyones taxes but not so equally. Our family will have to pay $1161.00 in new taxes and this is in addition to the 9.3% we already pay in State income taxes it will be a change to the tax code.. It's called “ Our Children Our Future” and they are already airing commercials and they are misleading. There is so much money floating around, that they can begin whole new programs.

Jerry just started a brand new entitlement program for illegals called the Dream Act.
